If this theory is correct, then it'd be so predictable to make Shruti the villain and hide Anupamaa's unprofessionalism and incorrect priorities. These are issues which have plagued her since years and there's been zero improvement in her regardless of the situation. Wasn't Gulati supposed to be the villain?

And what's going to happen now? Anupamaa will find out and Shruti will blackmail her by threatening to leave Aadhya so Anupamaa stays shut and then Anuj finds out and leaves her. What a convenient way to make her the villain and give a free pass to the filthy unpaid maid of Vanrajan.....

The 'not a couple' can do anything and get away with it because horny viewers demand their scenes while wanting to villainise every other character for that purpose from Shruti to Aadhya. But why can't the 'not a couple' do something right by themselves

Shruti came as a positive and a bubbly character, but Majboor made her majboor by cheating on her by bringing his ex in the same house that too when she was bedridden.

Kisi bhale insaan ko itna bhi mat pareshan karo ki wo badla lene par utar aaye. Shruti had politely asked her to leave from the house but she didn’t.

Waise bhi all positive characters have to be made negative warna Anupama positive kaise lagegi - and funnily she still looks the most negative in the show.

This was predictable. In one shot, Shruti is established as a vamp, Anuj will leave her, and Aadya may be in two minds & eventually get closer to Anupama. So Shruti's character has started moving toward a potential exit from the narrative.
