Her poor behaviour can definitely be explained by her trauma, but bad behaviour still isn't justified. Adhya needs therapy period as do her "parents". She's not exactly wrong because as you explained, the so-called adults around her aren't behaving that way and they're responsible for her state but even so, she needs help. Maybe she also needs another family altogether tbh.

Can't agree more for ALL the characters needing professional help.

If the namesake family were to disintegrate now, imagine what effect this should have on Adhya? Will it not turn her absolutely bitter to relationships?

Adhya needs professional help - I agree. But who will provide her with that help? Who will think that she needs help and not the Maa that left her? Can help ensure that Adhya will not react or feel triggered when she sees her father very slyly dragging Anupamaa into her life for his needs, but at the same time claiming it's for her good? Can help ensure Adhya will not feel triggered when she sees her father cheating on the woman, she calls her mother - a mother who gave her time and was available when her adoptive mother who promised a home, and a healthy environment to her just left her on one fine day?

Who will realize that she needs help?

If Anuj realized that his daughter needed help, wouldn't the first thing that he would do is to stop cheating his fiance and stop manipulating his daughter ?
If Anupamaa realized that Adhya needed help, wouldn't she now stand firm on the decision that she took to leave her, since it's any way too late to make amends and anything she tries will backfire at her and Adhya ?
Shruti has been the closest at providing her help, but even she does not think of professional help, perhaps because that would make her too good.

But beyond all that, just for a moment remove Anupamaa from the whole equation, does Adhya still need help? Without Anupamaa, isn't she a normal child who finds happiness in winning a sports competition, going out with two people whom she calls her own, and enjoying hanging out with friends ?? Does she still go around insulting people? Does she still shout, and scream when things don't go her way? Have we seen any of that? So where exactly should the three people who claim to love her - Anupamaa, Anuj and Adhya start if they really intend to help her...

Moreover, the central character of this show always needed help, years of help, but she never got any. Will the writers who didn't provide help to the lead character, provide help to another? Does the writer even have the potential to think that people may have mental health issues that can lead them to react in a haphazard manner and make wrong choices? How would those who wrote the fate of these characters, provide them help when a mental health issue is just a tool to either gain sympathy for the main character or villainize other characters?

Shruthi who was living with them for the past 7+ years and had a LIVE IN relationship with her father, who proposed her in all his senses is being forced by his DAUGHTER

And the woman (MAA) who left and abandoned an 8-9 year old girl with no explanation, came into their life by COINCIDENCE, is being brought back into her life with all the manipulation is for her betterment
