Redeemed Makhi had a lot of potential.

This new Makhi is just meh. She is like OG Kavya but worse. Muskaan Bamne was actually very good when they were showing Sudhri Hui Makhi. Her one liners and attitude were class apart. Plus she was selflessly supporting Maa during Maya track when Samar lost his brain cells for months. If she was selfish, she would have gone to Team VanKha even before Adhik. Plus her bond with Romil was good and she really seemed to care for Aadhya/CA. She found fault in V,Baa and BB when they were hell bent to cause Kalesh.Most importantly, she divorced her abuser before Crinjal could. They could have written DV track, Makhi adoption track and divorce track sensibly. Storyline could have been:

After DV she decides to give Adhik a chance but supports ger phemily in justice movement for Samar against her sasural. She irks her sasural more when she brings an adopted child home. Adhik starts to abuse her again and is a bad father. She takes help of Anuj and Aadhya and divorces Adhik and gets huge alimony and runs to Amreeka. In Amreeka, instead of Crinjal, Maa meets Makhi who is genuinely interested to take care of her. Makhi is now employee of Anooj. Dumpy and Shahs are like OG. Only Crinjal is openly selfish in Amreeka and is as bad as Doshu. Plus redeemed Makhi would be a phree ticket phor Maa to get a good job and meet mere Anooj. Makhi Anuj cordial friendship is explored. Plus Makhi has khud ka ghar instead of phlop Crinjal's rented accommodation. When Shahs arrive in Amreeka, Kavya and Dumpy run to live with Makhi and others are regular visitors. Reveal than Shahs supported Adhik during divorce and disowned her post divorce.

Naaah. Even that was a loosely written track.

What happened to her behaviour just before Choti Anu was taken away to Mumbai and just after Anuj's return have No connection to her behaviour during the Maaya track.

Pakhi divorced Adhik (as mentioned) after Anuj-Anupama's divorce and Anuj sold off Kapadia Empire to a third party. Adhik has mentioned this as the cause of tensions between the couple due to Adhik's weak financial standing leading to divorce.

Her actions with Titu can in no way be forgiven. Even now, she is scheming to frame Adhik in false cases.

Secondly, she misbehaved with Romil and Choti Anu, almost hit her, was spending Anuj's money left, right, centre, demanded her business to be financed without a proper outline, went berserk in jealousy in her wanting to be a mother when Dimple was being taken care of due to pregnancy and the recent sad events.

There is no redeeming such characters.
