New name - Under the table maid

In the US, if you are paid in cash then it means you are working under the table and this is illegal!!!!

A person on valid passport and visa - would needs to be entered into payroll, should be asked to give bank account number for direct deposit of the salary earned, should be provided a W2 for tax filing and should be given medical / dental insurance coverage. This is the LAW of this land (the US). It would have made more sense to show that Deepu filed for her visa and gave her those papers to transfer her visa from the closed restaurant to spice and chutney.

Rajan Shahi should have called this fake America as something else rather than calling it the US. He has made a mockery of laws and immigration rules the way he made a mockery of other issues on this show.

I'm sure in the coming episodes, all you have highlighted above will be shown or hinted at.

I have no hopes!!! They might be reading but still do what they want to do. Its been close to 2 months now that this track is going on but so far nothing legal has been shown as far the US laws are concerned. I have written many things since the start of this track about the US laws par inke kaan mein joo tak nahi rengti!!! THU THU THU on Rajan Shahi's face for making mockery on everything (social issues, immigration laws etc )

This show is not made for the Indian diaspora and non-trp audience. It is only and only for resident Indian viewers with barc meters, which is hardly a few thousand homes. And this miniscule group of viewers doesn't care about realism/logic as long as Maa is shown as a victim wronged by her loved ones.

If they go by following rules, then Maa can't stay in States (her visa approval won't happen in first place without her showing up to interview but let's ignore that for our sanity)

They have to fulfill her long awaited dream to Amrica somehow so they make impossible possible in Anupamaaverse 😂

Itna logic nahi lagate re baba logically maa would not get VISA without showing up for the interview. Also don't know if she can work there without a work permit that has to be approved by the employer. So skip / forget/ murder logic while watching this shit

Based on the story of Spices and Chutney's success, where the masala chai made by a "Bawarchi in suti sari" (as described by her own son) led to record profits, I also started applying to different places with my idea of speshal kold kophi.

Their competitor restaurant 'Condiments and Sauces' offered me a job which I accepted and my work permit to the US is currently being processed. (Was applied for on my behalf by a friend I haven't spoken to in ages...). But I only want my salary in cash. I think I will have to withdraw by telling them 'Soori Soori' and give up on my nayi udaan, the way Bawarchi in suti sari has done countless times tames
