If there is someone like Anupama in real life then no one will look at her forget about loving her. No one will be interested in her long bhashans and rotlu demeanour.

Unfortunate that Anupamaa's character has come to a point where one wonders what did a man like Anuj Kapadia saw in her. Wish it was not so. Wish that they had shown that no matter what her looks or status she was a woman worthy of having a second chance in life. That she was capable of building a beautiful life for herself and people who valued her if life gave a chance.

Good looks aur financial status problem nahi hai IMO.. I understand that looks matter a lot even in real life. But it's not that love doesn't knock the doors of conventionally not good-looking people. Or a conventionally good-looking man won't fall for a perceived plain-looking woman. It may not be a norm but not an exception either. Have seen a variety of couples around. Sab couples mein 36 ke 36 gun nahi milte, infact kayi mein nahi milte...

Anupamaa's character though is a major problem. Her dense brain is an even bigger problem. She seeks validation from people whom she can never win over. She doesn't value people who love her from the deepest core of her heart. She pays no heed to the advice of her well-wishers or even the people who are not her well-wishers but may have said things for her benefit. To her Shahs are worthy of trying and winning over, again and again, no matter how much they insult, no matter how much cruel they are. But when it comes to Anuj and CA's, their love is her entitlement. As people of good character, they made her secure enough to think that they loved her, her happiness was paramount to them and they would always be by her side. So she misconstrued unconditional love with unconditional submission and that's why she feels so hurt when Anuj complains to her. It's even difficult to call her a villainous character because even a villain knows why he/she is being bad. Making it worse is her never-ending urge to give lectures on anything and everything. I don't know what can change her, It's so built in her personality as her second nature. The first and foremost thing she needs to do in her life is shut her mouth and go into deep meditation. Perhaps become a jogan for real and do some contemplation.

Pyar karna koi badi baat nahi hai but gadho ki tarah pyaar ko pooja banana is my problem, she’s definitely not worth being hailed and venerated.

True more than their face, it's the head where the problem lies. Be it Anupamaa or Anuj or now Deepu. One can't do anything with the face. It's God-gifted. But to let to the brain get rusted to a point it stops functioning is certainly one's own fault, one's own doing
