Shruti and Maya

-Both of them are useless and dono ka koi impact nahi hai show .

-Both of them only exit in the show because of Choti Anu

-Anuj disrespect both Maya ,not with Shruti right now but future mein hoga

- Maya and Shruti lacks self respect they both love this guy who never gave damn about them

- I hope Shruti won't end up like Maya

Maya loving Anuj was wrong, as at that time Anuj was married to Anupama. Her character also had grey shades.

However, Shruti so far comes off as a mature and positive woman who fell in love with a divorced man and is able to understand his past baggage. She loves Aadya too, though she is not her real mom. Unlike Maya, she is not the other woman. Infact, Anupama will soon become the other woman in her relationship with Anuj!

Hence, in my opinion, presently, Shruti and Maya are not comparable because the former is way better than the latter. Only issues I have with Shruti is her constant praises for Joshiben and her inability to break off the engagement despite knowing Anuj is making no effort in their relationship.

Not sure how her character will pan out in the future as makers never maintain consistency in the story and the characters.

As far as impact on story is concerned, Shruti's character is a typical third angle brought in by makers to complicate and extend the story. She seems more like Kavya 2.0 who may eventually meet an end like Maya.

Maya died saving Anupamaa.

Shruti has not left yet but if she does it will be because of Anupamaa, Maa ka jab mann karta hai wo chodkar nikal leti hai aur jab mann karta hai muh utha kar fir chali aati hai, how exactly CA came into picture?

Maya and Shruti both have been better mothers to CA then Anupamaa who never had time and left her in a traumatic stage.

Agree! Of the 3 mothers CA has had, Anupama was the worst! I personally don't want Anuj to go back to Maa as Shruti is anytime better! But Anupama is the lead, so makers will showcase her as the best and innocent viewers will always side with her!

Agree wholeheartedly.

Batao, Female Lead ko bada banane ke liye duniya bhar ko bura dikhao ya phir bina koi reason ke female lead ki badhaai karte dikhao. Yeh sab karne ke baad bhi unki female lead koi sympathy gain nahin karti.

Difference between maaya and Shruti

Maaya ek shaadi Shuda pati ke peeche padi thi aur ek shaadi Shuda lady ka Ghar todna Chahti thi

But Shruti kisi ka shaadi Shuda lady ka Ghar nahi tod rahi hai

Kyonki ab anuj divorcee hai to Shruti anuj se shaadi kar sakta hai

To Shruti ka anger justify hoga agar anuj Shruti se shaadi se inkaar karta hai

Tbh I understood Maaya's love for Anuj more than Shruti even if it was morally questionable. Maya was a victim of human trafficking. She had seen the worst side of men in her life. Those who treated her like a commodity, for whom her identity was nothing more than her young body. She didn't fall for Anuj Kapadia at first sight... It was a slow progression. She passionately falls for him after he saves her from creep Sampath. Anuj gave her a completely different perspective of a man. He stood for her dignity and almost put his life on the line to protect her. It must have been the first time she felt protected, safe, and comfortable in a man's company. They showed her having flashbacks to screaming while he was fighting for her. I understand she might have wanted to cling on to him. It would have been better had she not started doing rituals for him secretly which are sacred and meant to be for husband and wife. Had her new perspective helped her look at life through a new prism and brought new hope to her life, that not every man in this world is alike, it would have been better. I wish that the fact that she loved him had never come out in the open. She could have dealt with her emotions and closed her feelings on a positive note and a fresh point of view. But then she turns psycho, becomes a victim of the writers, and finally dies.

Coming to Shruti I really don't understand why she fell for him. Maine tumhe dekha aur pyaar ho gaya. May be that's the focal point where Anuj connects with Shruti. Usko bhi dekhte hi pyaar ho gaya tha. Woh kyon in dono ke saath hai mujhe samajh nahi aaya... Itna handsome hai kya Anuj ki resist nahi hota... I thought only Vee was the irresistible man on this show. Maa, kavya, Mukku all deeply fell for him.... That's why connecting to her becomes a lil difficult. Besides Anuj's touch me not attitude does not help either.

That said Shruti is a certainly positive person. I like Sukriti's acting also. It's subtle. In today's episode also while she was talking to Anuj, her voice was slightly, very slightly trembling which showcased the pain she felt while being in a one-sided love. The best part of her personality so far is that she believes in communication. She encourages both Anuj and Aadhya to talk and tries to assure them that she is always there if they wish to share anything with her. Till now I had a problem that she is not noticing very on the face signals Anuj is giving when she talks about marriage. But now her dialogues tell that she is not entirely oblivious to what's happening around her. Let's see how her character unfolds further. So far she talks softly, yet clearly. I am still skeptical about her. The writers of this show didn't leave any character that became a challenge to Anupamaa - Malti Devi, Barkha, Maya all turned negative. Here Shruti is a direct kompetison to Maa. Since they never elevate Maa's character the only two choices remain - make her negative or make her fall out of love with Anuj and fall in love with Maa. The latter option I shudder to think, even more than the former. What will happen only time can tell..
