Three Michelin stars - just a thought of story line?

In one of the recent episodes, Vanraj makes a comment about how Anupama's life is stuck in kitchen with smell of masala's etc. I cannot understand why he has so much hatred towards her despite realizing how much she did for his family, especially in his absence, even when was not DIL of the family, she took care of his aging parents. However that line with me even after the episode and I was thinking on the following:

So, Anupama has now started making special dishes and slowly becomes "Chef" of that r'tant. Slowly the popularity of the place grows and her cooking skills become quite famous. That r'tant ends up getting "three Michelin stars" and place becomes so hard to get booking the reservation. Unknown to this, Vanraj lands up in US and his client insists that he wants to go that Indian place for dinner. Vanraj thinks it is easy to book reservation, but realizes how hard it is. Eventually after much struggle, he gets it and client insists on meeting the chef. Finally to see confident, business woman and "Chef" Anupama, he is shell shocked and this line of her being stuck in kitchen comes back to him.

Koi bhi kaam chota ya baada nahin hota, one has to work with dedication. I really do not want Anupama and Anuj to meet now. I wish finally Anupama stays on the path and fully dedicates herself to her growth and profession and the place becomes famous due to her. Do you think this can happen?

Come to think of it, he never had this realisation. He was testing waters with Anupama till the time she served Shahs without retaliation and he was sure she would return.

Had she moved out of Shah House post divorce and stayed separate, moved on in the true sense, there would perhaps have been realisation. But he knew her too well. Her need for validation, her need to be doing everything around even if there was no actual need and the need to be praised (even if it came under the garb of being taken fir a ride). So, perhaps it was, you hot what you asked for, no favours there.

anupama serial from the time she got divorced from vanraj became very very unrealistic - impractical hard to believe and accept. first of all no woman will stay with her ex in laws and ex husband when he is married second time in the same house as a divorcee her state never changed despite divorcing , she was the still same naukrani her service extended to the wife of vanraj i.e kavya also, no self respected woman will tolerate this esp when anupama has her own maika with mother and brother. in the show it was never shown that anupama is very attached to her mother and brother she never treated her real maika as her maternal house rather even after becoming Mrs AK, she ran only towards shah house who gave her nothing but abuse but at the same time using her to the max whenever they want. In practical life, no woman will tolerate this. EK taraf anupama divorced her husband showing that she has self respect then stayed there as the same naukrani tolerating the same abuses from baa vanraj toshu pakhi. even babuji was very manipulative to use her for the household work Makers when you are showing something please make sure, it should be logical, practical, anupama jaisi height of foolishness example cannot be seen in even satyug, olden medieval times.

If they show realistic stuff, how can they prolong the show, as ITV makers lack creativity...Also, the trp ratings are always in their favour. Anupama has never gone out of the top 5 shows list. So they have no rhyme or reason to budge from their time-tested formulas.

Lastly, logic is non-existent in ITV shows, especially the top-rated ones! We must keep our brains aside while watching such incoherent shows. The day you start watching them as comedy shows, trust me, you will thoroughly enjoy!

would be great to see Anupamaa succeed and get her due as a chef, will it happen? yes only if she focuses on herself which she frankly seems incapable ofso sadly no aint happening.

Not happening, never.
She keeps chanting mere bachhe, mere Baa Bapuji, mera Parivar, mere riste all day even now.

Nothing has changed and the leap probably only happened so that when she enters Shah house this time, audience can say, dekho 5 saal baad aayi hai apne Ex Sasural.

Also so that everyone can forget that before leap Mishter Shah had thrown her out of Shah house after a lot of humiliation.

After all they are all a family so they will reconcile after 5 yrs now.

I am mostly a silent reader and enjoy reading post from many of you, including Hinz :) But today that sentence/line about she being stuck in kitchen by Vanraj stuck with me and I wanted to write. Journey and struggle and achievement this time should be Anupama's alone with no need of support from Anuj or Devika. Let her struggle, let her fail but let her stay determined. Anuj also used to reference in the past that she is NOW the wife of Anuj Kapadia, so she can /allowed to spend money. That line never sat well with me. Instead he could have said, you work and are self reliant, so you dont have to worry about money like in the past. As in putting her economic independence in front of her rather than saying "You are Mrs. Anuj Kapadia, you dont have to worry about money." Why can't the show be realistic and yet have high TRPs? Now Baa stating "Tosh kudh Anupama ko apne ghar lagega" does NOT Sit right at all.....Will he needed assistance from his mother to baby sit "Angel/Pari" and she readily agrees? She is mom, and grandmom - agreed But why cannot she have "self respect" first. May be I am putting too much thoughts in a "reel show" but I recall a line from Lord Shiva, when he tells Mata PAravati, dont go to anyone's house when you are NOT invited, even if it is your father. Here her self respect should be first, especially since she knows that they use her for their own selfish needs. Why dont they show that she can also walk away?

May be it is just my wishful thinking here

Imagine women in real world

They pass degree BE MBA on own no parent will hand on platter to you or write your exams

Than women roam companies looking for jobs attending many interviews. A woman has to be twice as good as most man competing with her to get jobs if its india especially as its a mans world. Now tell me will anupama pass peon job interview forget anything else like business woman with her skills and education and ability and commitment

Nothing was handed on platter for any woman i mean most in world

Only anupama is handed everything on platter always business job money wealth us visa us job etc without any effort and studies unlike most other women in life

Its like someone paying 1 crore and getting MBBS seat in india at payment by being just pass 35% no and low ranks no efforts nothing

Also these MBBS will in future do negligence wrong diagnosis and kill many patients

same as anupama not having any seriousness in USA cooking job or teaching job or dance academy

Whatever you get without effort you never value it like anupama

even in USA anuapam gets yashpal mom who gives her back job although shes been negligent in first week many times in cooking only

where is seriousness for job or dedication from anupama? Nothing is there so what women empowerment? Every other person on road family or relatives are helping her from last 4 years after divorce but she does not value that help at all and has been highly negligent agian and again and again

She only values doing work for shah house and taking care of all shhas rest all can go fall in arabian sea or pacific ocean who cares

but chef Garima Arora will bang her head hard on the wall thinking ki agar thepla chutni (no offence to the Gujarati cuisine), palak burger, phataphat banne wali khichdi etc hi bana kar aur 24*7 bas panchayat karke michelin star ban rahe the toh maine itni mehnat kyun ki India's first female michelin star chef banne mei.

Not only Anupama, but these writers of TV serials should not even think of giving someone real awards like "michelin star" as TV serials ki jo bhi female lead hoti hain (character not the acter) vo ek bhi aaisa kaam nahi karti, bas time pass karti hain, dusre ke phatte mei apni taang, naak aur puri mundi ghusa deti hain, panchayat karke apni aur dusro ki life complicated karti hain aur kuch kaam ki cheez nahi karti hain.

It is not just the case with Anupama, but most TV serials have this thing, no women is committed to their work, aadho ko shaadi karni hoti hai aur jinki shaadi ho chuki hoti hai unko bas dusro ki problems mei interest hota hai, no one shows real interest to their work and this is what I don't like about TV serials.

As I gave the real example of chef Garima Arora who has actually won the michelin star for India and became the first female in India to win that title, just imagine the amount of hardwork she had to put in, and then compare these TV serial kaa characters.
