This is all Anuj’s mistake tbvh, itna bhi kisi ko sar par mat chadhao, kisi ko itna bhi pedestal pe mat bithao ko wo sar pe tandav karne lage and Maa to Tandav mein ekshpert hai we all know!

Glad he didn’t stop her, but he should have said all this long ago. Didn’t have that much impact now she left as if she was never wrong, unapologetic and shameless as ever, I don’t know how can he love this garbage of a woman and how can someone even like her.

He did stop her atleast 3 times, requested her and even sternly told her before the Maaya track and one last try after the Maaya track. ALL of deaf ears.

Nonetheless, I agree, he is at fault for rushing into handing over everything putting her on a pedestal.

Probably shouldn't post this before reading the entire WU. Still, I am going ahead.

If Anupama indeed broke relation with Anuj, she is infact proving Anuj's point that he and Choti don't matter to her. Anuj isn't perfect or flawless but he gave up his need for drawing boundaries with Shahs when he saw Anupama wasn't able to do it. He could have broken up with Anupama then and there but he chose to adjust instead. This time, Anupama could have made an effort. The problem isn't only that she has Mann ka rishta with Shahs, the problem is that she doesn't have any Mann ka rishta with Anuj and Choti.

I nursed a foolish hope that this time around things may be different as the story couldn't repeat itself exactly in the same way a year later. But my strong feeling is that it is. Anupama won't approach Shahs for 5 years atleast which is probably just one sentence duration long for the audience. Once Anuj begs to Anupama in America along with Choti, the trio will be back in India to solve the Shahs Tamashahs with Anuj and Choti being guilty of separating Anupama from Mann ka rishta and held responsible for everythingwrong with the Shahs. More insults by Shahs, more shameless attitude by Anupama, more oppression of Anuj and Choti. I am happy that the actors are getting work but I wish Anuj and Choti's character would end with them being happy together in America.

I am going to sincerely try to give up Anupama now. Anupama is a character that I now have difficulty tolerating on my screen. Women have done wonderfully personally and professionally given the freedom and resources and emotional support. Women are humans too and do not like being abused / taken advantage of or stay in perpetual victim mode. Also, to show that a loving and supportive husband and kid are obstacles or hurdles to a women's journey isn't something I agree with.

I don't know which professional udaan goes from handling a business empire to becoming a seamstress to becoming a waitress / cook. I don't know which personal udaan goes from having a happy and loving family to being alone in victim mode. Looks more like a complete nosedive than any udaan to me.

Exactly! Till now she has neither realised her mistake nor apologized for it. It's unbelievable how this woman who tolerated all of Vanraj's insults for 26 years. Who has been told to get lost from SH but still will go there again and again left Anuj just because he complained 1 time!

Even here he is far better than Vanraj. He did not humiliate her. He only put forward what he felt. Vanraj hota toh Ghar ke bahar laat marke nikal deta. Anuj ne toh abhi bhi aadha blame apne sar par liya ki mene hi jaldbazi kardi, mene hi adoption ke liye force kar diya.

Aur phir bhi iss aurat ko koi kadar hi nahi hai bechare ki. Itni dogli hai ki puccho mat. Anuj jaisa rare gem mila. But she has no value of him or even CA. Few people get a second chance as golden as she got but she has wasted it. She deserves to rot alone

He did but everytime she created such circumstances and crying faces, sad environment in Kapadia house that he had to take back his words, fall on her feet and apologise and ask her to go and see Shahs.

Maa is a PhD in gaslighting, manipulating and guilt tripping the other person.
