Sorry to chime in, Barkha was the only one in Kapadia Mansion who stood up against Leela for illtreating Dimple and Choti Anu.

Barkha was the one who identified Choti Anu's panic attacks and nightmares.

It was shown earlier that Choti Anu was taken care of by Bhai-Bhabhi in Anuj-Anupama's absence.

About Malati Devi, how is she a bad influence? Her issues are with Anupama's misplaced priorities and skewed up ideals. She reminded the so-called parents about the importance of giving attention to kids studies and school.

ALL that Anupama is doing now for Choti Anu is a consequence of Malati Devi's presence and growing interest in Choti Anu's affairs.

So, in effect, they are the better off than the others. May be the only sanity in the madness that is Kapadia Mansion and Shah House.

I disagree! Anupama needs to be held accountable for T and P's upbringing. This woman always comes up with pathetic excuses to JUSTIFY their crimes instead of taking some stern action.

For eg, when T cheated on Kinjal,she declared him mentally unstable and admitted him to a rehab centre.

When Pakhi mentally and physically assaulted Adhik,she again declared her mentally unstable and lied down with her in the middle of the road BUT the same courtesy wasn't extended to Adhik. He was straightway pronounced guilty worthy to be put behind the bars.

I can mention thousands of eg but these two will suffice as of now. Her double standards are clearly visible. She is an epitome of hypocrisy even worse than V and Baa. Atleast they don't portray themselves as "Victim of the world".

MD and Barkha are at least available for CA but Anupama’s doesn’t have time for her.

She returned to KM because MD was getting close to CA than Baa and Bapuji also came to KM and staying there so she didn’t had reason to go shah house and now vanraj asked her to stay away else she would be gone now too.

And what was Maa teaching CA when she doesn’t teach her own kids any good. In past she only had household works and nothing else but she never corrected her useless kids.

I am talking about having time or no time. What has Barkha and MD have to do anyway. They have time to even stare at the wall. My point is their attitude, their mannerism and their teachings are not right for CA. In fact, Pakhi, Mr Shah, or even Baa are not good influences for her. Isn't it better for Anupama and Anuj to find themselves a new house to live in and protect her.

Also, the daily fights and arguments, the tantrums of Pakhi are not helping her at all.

As much as I dislike Anupama, she can't be held accountable for everything. Yes, she must have had her own share of shortcomings as a mother. But raising a child is not only a mother's responsibility. The father has his own share of responsibility plus again in a joint family, there are others as well.

Moreover, at least in the beginning of the show, it was shown that she was confined to household chores and verbally abused. Why would children listen to a weaker parent. It is only human to look up to or to obey the powerful one.

Anyway, i don't want to defend Anupama too much coz she is also too much.

How is Barkha and Malti Devi not bad influences for CA? They play politics in the house. Barkha being the bhabhi is trying to create differences between Anupama and Malti Devi. Is that how a bhabhi should behave? That too after all the favours Anupama and Anuj have done for her family? How about telling a small kid that her parents will send her back to the orphanage? And Malti Devi trying to creat differences between a mother and a child is good? Malti Devi supporting the tantrums towards her parents and abuse of a little child towards her friend is a good thing?

Up until now they haven't been playing with the child. Yes, they run their kitchen politics and that is limited to and among adults.

There is a history to it and Anuj-Anupama have been grossly unfair to supposed Maa samaan Bhabhi and Bhai in their treatment.

Barkha or for that matter none needs to create any differences with Anupama, she will do it herself wherever she perceives a threat to her authority.

The child also said that she heard them talk among themselves unlike Pakhi who directly said things to her. Yes, one has to be careful of what one is speaking especially with kids in the house, but the same applies to Anuj-Anupama who talk random stuff leaving Choti Anu to assume things.

There have been numerous instances shown where Malati Devi tried talking sense to Anupama about setting her priorities right.

She pointed out where she found Choti Anu falling short in her studies etc.

She conducted dance classes at home where Choti Anu's friends also joined, whatever happened to that post Shahs entry into Kapadia Mansion?

Imagine a woman who was shown to put in these efforts turns vile, seems irrational.

Today's sequence was the time they showed her of her siding with a bully and directly instigating Choti Anu into taking the wrong step.

This bound to happen isn't it?

Every character is divided into 3 categories:

a.Anupama's cheerleader

b. Shahs and

c. Vamps/villains.

Any character that is introduced as sensible, practical is given 2 options:

a. Anupama's cheerleader or

b. Vamp/Villain if the character becomes more popular or gains more sympathy.

So, while Maaya's past and rise from the struggles made her gain more sympathy, Malati Devi, despite being a person who abandoned her child, raised pertinent issues and gained a soft(er) corner especially when the comparison was Leela.

Previously, Malti has tried to instigate CA by gossiping about her own mother. Malti was quite good to CA in the beginning. Now she is using CA.

Ideally shahs influence is coming in kapadiya house thanks to anupama and pakhi in that house

Malati devi has understood if she tells anupama and anuj what is wrong they will insult her and shut her up

So shes using choti to get her point to anupama and anuj

if anupama and anuj play divide and rule like britishers with kapadiya and have diff set of rules for kapadiyas and shahs all will start acting like MD or barkha only

Though i think MD and barkha love and care for choti much more than anupama or anuj or any shahs too

Kavya is only shah who loves choti in shah house even more than anupama loves choti

and than its malati devi and adhik, barkha who love choti more than anupama or anuj

If you remember during panic attack it was adhik who called anuj and barkha who calmed her and adhik who looked very worried for that kid

Malvika or kavya should adopt choti not anuj or anupama

MD is like rakhi and Barkha is like dimpy

Adhik is samar somtimes like toshu

CA is like pakhi

So kapadiya house has been successful turned to shahs house by anupam apolitics and influence
