So there was enough fodder on X for me to watch the episode for Gaurav’s performance and I’m quite glad I did…not only to appreciate GK and little Asmi’s skill to express multiple emotions in a single episode (when it takes the rest many to prove their invalid point) but also to check how dumb and low Anupamaa can go with her insensitivity…

I’ve said this before and will say it again that Anupamaa loves an audience and Shahs serve the purpose quite effeciently every single time. As if Anuj’s meri Anu jaap wasnt enough, she needed that extra bit of real validation from her real people, the Shahs of course.

Anupamaa has been wrong right from the start in this entire Malti Devi saga. One episode she goes ballistic at the Gurukul people and frantically searches for Kurma and the next she forgets all about it.

And eventually when MD made her comeback she totally pushed aside all other issues and took up project ‘Kurma’s son’ instantly. Anuj insisted and was pretty vocal with his feelings but she didnt stop. She was wrong to disregard Anuj’s uneasiness around the lady and fell to an all time low when she thought that introducing her husband to the mother who abandoned him as a baby would be the best gift on his birthday. Bravo Anupamaa! just when I thought you couldnt be more selfish.

Anuj is mostly to blame here for giving someone as egocentric as Anupamaa the reigns of his life, nobody forced him he was dumb enough to let her play him each and every time and now with the upcoming kaand, it wont take a second for the Shah clan to hold Anuj in contempt.

She could have easily handled this in a private more comforting way for both MD and Anuj but no, this woman loves to create a scene and for all we know she might even dance to and sing some motherly song to make the mother-son forgive each other. I dont get the rush through this track.

If Anuj has any sense and spine left in him, he will seperate from this vile woman for good and never look back. Let her rot with the Shahs forever, abuse is her thing.

Twist in the plot: could MD have a valid reason for leaving Anuj at the orphanage? perhaps she was majboor, like her son is now, may be majboori runs in the family?

Seems like the first of the two typical Anupama episodes.

In the first one, common sense rules, valid points are made and hope is built for some positive change.

In the second one, that sane person is vilified, falls at Maa's feet and receives forgiveness for the sins.

I will watch this episode for Gaurav's performance.

Twist in the plot: After the motherly song/dance, crying, forgiving, accepting saga is over and Anuj heaves a sigh of relief, Maa will disclose in a party ( that they would be celebrating with shahs for no reason of course!) that MD faked it all along, that she isn’t his real mother! smiley24 She had tricked them all along to take revenge on Anupamaa for cancelling the udaan smiley14

Anuj be like……smiley44 smiley35smiley7smiley15🔥❤️‍🔥, but outwardly to her he’ll say “ meri Anu… tum bilkul sahi…kaise kar leti ho!.” smiley31

It's not that the same thing cannot be executed better... Anupama, the ever-crying one, could have been shown concerned while going to give this information, instead of looking uncontrollably excited. Chalo maan liya that u need a spectacle drama for TRPs ... Toh at least Anupama could have tried to talk to him privately and Shah could have heard it and then they could have continued from there... That way at least the character would not have looked this insensitive... Seeing Anupama talk emotionally to MD and introducing Anuj to her as her son while ignoring his emotions was frustrating.. A great love story is in which two people are equally involved, otherwise Anuj ka ek tarfa pyaar bhi kya bura tha. It's not that he was living an unhappy life. The best part of that phase was that he was a contended and successful man.. smiley36

Choti's hug to Anuj and their little scene is enough to tell that it's not always needed to speak without a break, in order to be understood and heard. What comes from the heart will reach another heart.... Now that Anuj has put his foot down, tomorrow will be another irritating day when she will behave like she understands Anuj's hatred towards MD ... smiley44

True.. The more anyone speaks rationally in this show, the more the danger increases that they will start behaving 10 times worse. Anuj is no exception.... Since Anupama's character cannot shine on individual merit, others have to be degraded to keep her afloat.smiley18
