Today’s episode was cringefest, all that sharmana and behaving like a newly wed doesn’t suit her, everyone who doesn’t like her has gathered there to watch and enjoy her misery as they have already got the news of Anuj not coming for whatever reason, but she still doesn’t understand that these people are not her Apne

Because an absolutely regressive message is given out wherein however much you try to go ahead in life, your toxic past always catches up to you. That Anupamaa should have to tolerate and bear an abusive philandering ex in the name of elders/phemli/sanskaar is just weird and unnecessary.

Vanarraj could probably say like Thanos that "I am inevitable" but Anupamaa is no Avenger here. Even if she leaves, they will all either follow her or she will end up coming back quite soon so why not stay and fight/figure out solutions but that's wishful thinking in Anupamaaverse or rather ITV at large

I completely agree with you. It's really disappointing to see such a regressive message being portrayed in the show. It's not fair that Anupamaa has to put up with an abusive and unfaithful ex-husband just because of societal expectations and traditional values. The fact that Vanraj thinks he's inevitable is just ridiculous, and it's not fair that Anupamaa has to suffer because of his toxic behavior. It would be great to see Anupamaa stand up for herself and find a way to move forward without having to constantly deal with Vanraj and his toxic past. But unfortunately, it seems like the show is not going in that direction, and it's frustrating to watch.
