Pretty sure RGs salary alone is many times the other cast combined. She is the highest paid tv actor by a long way, others get peanuts compared to her.

And the regular cast members like baa, etc are also paid a lot, it's the newcomers who barely get anything

The actor is doing what anyone would to solidify their position. We see it not just on small screen but in every industry.

It is upto the people who yield to the whims are fancies and give in to the demands, that are the problem.

You can be blind in power and yes it has to be curbed by the higher authority but here two egomaniac became besties and ruining people's lives. Rg has been working since years. She knows the struggle of itv it has come such a long way from 2000. Why can't she have empathy for these people and always play a role to kick them out?

What's her thought process though, that like ekta shows it will continue till she's 60 nd pay for retirement? Or maybe this is why she's being so awful

With a heavy dose of narcissism and shamelessness as well as being emboldened by their continued success in a metric which makes them think they can do anything wrong to anybody and get away with it

Huge difference between promoting oneself positively and improving ones standing, vs being a toxic senior actor who sabotages juniors and their careers, out of ego and insecurity.

There have been famous great actors who struggled a lot but in turn, once they started growing big, helped other new actors so that they don't have to struggle so much.

We see both kind of people in every industry. It's a myth only those who are cruel or tough grow, we have great, nice, kind people succeeding in every industry too. Look at ratan tata or Sachin or how SRK is with his fans usually.

Again, yeh saari baatein: empathy, "With GREAT Power comes GREAT responsibility", yeh sab theek hn. But at the end of the day, it is a job or business. The actor makes demands as per their locus standing, expects things to work with close acquaintances. But us cheez ke materialize hone me toh uska haath nahin hn na. Kaunse demands ke liye kitna yield karna hn woh toh jisse demand kiya hn uspe hn.

Would the same treatment be meted out to an equally or bigger actor? I don't think so, because of the standing that the actor would have and the fear of the extent of consequences. Will a person with a weak locus standi have the courage, patience and resources to go through a process to prove her point? I don't think so.

Eventually, things may turn good. But that is muuuuuuch in the future and with persistent efforts.

Agree, there is good and bad everywhere, more bad than good. That is what makes us recognise the bad and strive for goodness.

I think Anupama remained on #1 because if Anuj … if he now returns It might be #1 again .
