Devika is a bi***. AnupaMaa not knowing how to deal with a depressed person is understandable since she is not well-read, but a highly educated woman pointing fingers at a depressed person for being in depression is insensitive and inhumane. Because of a few outbursts, she declared Vanraj and Anuj are the same. How are 25 years of abuse, manipulation, and cheating comparable to a few emotional breakdowns?
Anuj made her the owner of his entire property on the first day of their marriage, while she had to beg Vanraj for buying a mere rubberband. Vanraj insulted her Maykewales. Anuj literally bears the expenses of her Maykewales. Vanraj ousted her for hanging out with friends. Anuj did not oust Devika even after Devika hurled abuses at him. Vanraj despised her for reeking of Masalas even after forcing her to do all household chores, while Anuj never let her work alone. He even made Ladoos for Kinjal. Vanraj ousted their daughter while Anuj took her in. Vanraj had multiple affairs behind her back while Anuj still do not consider keeping even a cordial relationship with MAAya for the sake of his child. Vanraj reprimanded their son Samar for speaking in favor of MAA, and Anuj did not even kick off her ardent follower DevRaj for speaking ill against him.
A man who lost his daughter a few days ago is compared to a manipulative, unfaithful, and abusive man for expressing his grief. He did not want to say those things to her. She forced him to pour out his heart. He did not use any demeaning or abusive words. A depressed person does not care about anyone not even himself. If you can't deal with his insensitive behavior, then go away from him. Leave him alone. By comparing Anuj with V today, Devika proved Devika is like V. Degrading a depressed person's character is as worse as taunting a man in a wheelchair for not winning a running competition. I HATE DevRaj.
Just as a drop of poison can not poison the entire sea, Anuj's outbursts can not undone all the good things he did for MAA.
I hear you sister. This is what I was writing about in another post. Devika is clearly out of her mind saying something that's completely wrong. In a bid to side with another woman, she's being unfair to Anuj and mollycoddling Anu without showing her where she went wrong. In the long run, this is only going to be detrimental to Anu. Women should be emancipated but should also be accountable when they go wrong.
I was disgusted by Devika's words today. Even in that messed up state, Anuj was triggered by that, and rightfully so. His look of total disbelief said it all, as though he felt betrayed by her. Doesn't she see that he's hurting? Forget understanding his feelings because that's too deep for people like her, look at his physical disheveled state. We are talking about Anuj who has always been dressed perfectly and look at him now!! Do you need more evidence that he's in a downward spiral psychologically?
The amount of insensitivity from Devika is unbelievable, so why just blame the Shahs? I know some of the audience are lapping it up but I hope the writers said that on purpose so that it can be addressed later. Also, if he's the number one prio for Anu, she'd better defend him and call Devika out for saying that. If she chooses to remain silent, then it's pathetic. Anu should have done this behind closed doors if she didn't want a scene to be created, but then she probably felt she needed to have people around to support her case. He's her husband, her love - should know how to deal with him without a bunch of people around. If two people can't speak to each other or hear each other out in the most difficult of times, then no number of outsiders can really help them. Also, how conveniently has she forgotten when he shared his pain about his orphan life during their honeymoon? For someone who keeps talking about mamta non-stop, does she not get what he means when he says CA is his aks, and how that common experience is what binds him to CA emotionally?
He's clearly fed up of lame excuses too (khushi ki chaadar, etc.) and wants Anu to own up to her mistakes, which isn't going to happen.
