Student of the year - A Report (Short FF scenario)

Amdavad: The annual exam season is approaching and the competition to be the topper at the Anupamaa Institute of Unpaid Maids (AIUM) has heated up between Dimple and Kinjal. While Dimple was earlier in the lead, the former head prefect Kinjal has re-entered the race with a bang and is giving a serious challenge for the coveted position of next besht unpaid maid topper.

As always, Anuj remains a dark horse and cannot be counted out at any time. Once promising prospect Adhik seems to have faded away but can still make a comeback in the standings. As per the latest speculation, new entrants to AIUM may include Kavya and Barkha, who were earlier part of a rival competing institution and if confirmed, this would be a major boost for the fledgling institution.

Uncomfirmed reports say that the classes at the institution include "Mastery in Manipulation" taught by Prof. Dr. Dukhmukh, "Art of Abuse" taught by Dean Mawaali Jhuli, "How to be a serial adulterer" taught by Prof. Trashraj assisted by Doshu, "Seductive Dence" co-taught by founder AnupaMaid and Winter Shah and the most preferred "5 minutes Phataphat cooking" by the founder.

While the students remain tight lipped due to the institutional motto of utmost loyalty to the shameless shah phemli, former student Nandini commented that the experience at this institute was beyond horrific and enrolling here was one of the worst decisions of her life. She thanked god for being able to leave in time before her life was permanently ruined.

It's a developing story and we don't have too many sources currently who can give us all the details of how this cult-like institution functions. The students don't seem to have any friends at all outside the institution. 😉

Yeah I had heard that ex-student of the unprestigious AIUM, Nandini was unable to reveal more details - she had just lashed out after a point in the interview with a very succinct "Leave. Just leave now"

The absence of verbal diarrhea in her responses seem to create doubt whether it was, infact, actually a course there.

However, her ending it with "I just want to forget all that trauma" gives the other possibility that she might have just suppressed the teachings.

Other sources do seem to point towards the existence of this course - investigations are still ongoing to shed light on this very important matter, as the primary correspondent has already confirmed.

This is turning out like the cult Scientology.🤣

On a serious note, I have watched some documentaries here on scientology. It is incredible how human minds work, the art of manipulation, deception etc and the concept of cult is mind boggling to fathom.

Nandini in this case sounds like Leah Remini's piece on scientology. The resemblence is striking!

This topic interests me too - the level of brainwashing that can happen in a cult - the level of control that can be gained on multiple minds where eerily everyone speaks the same language - very disturbing, yet fascinating!

Now that's a stunning parallel in terms of a real life experience. So Vanraj Shah is the Tom Cruise here? 😛

@bold, I know the makers are least concerned with it or actually intend to portray the characters this way, but some of the dialogues especially between Anupamaa and the next generation seem like pure brainwashing. Similar to the role of the Aunts in the Handmaid's Tale. One poster had pointed out the similarities a couple of days ago.

I can’t decide who would win, while Kinjal is clearly the shadow of AnupaMaid, she has a manipulative mother who could help her cheat since she had a special relationship with the Deans brother 😉 and while Dimple is another shameless shadow, she also has anger issues which could make her fail especially since the Dean constantly belittles her 🤪 It is definitely going to be a big challenge in beating the one in a kind AnupaMaid oh well let’s see who wins and becomes the next Unpaid Maid ☺️

Yes, she takes classes on 'Practical Thinking and Retorting back' but they aren't really popular or patronized. Only one of the toppers Kinjal has been seen attending them on rare occasions. Moreover, the other faculty do not like her and have sidelined her
