Firstly, the show has incompetent writers.

They swing characters in different directions and see what sticks based on audience response. Plus they take undue liberties for the sake of so called story.

Anuj could NEVER fall for anyone else because audience will not accept that. He did not tell Anu because writers wanted to make a dramatic reveal on mahashivratri. Bas thats the only reason.

He is probably just lowkey mad at Anu for running off to the Shahs all the time. Thats why he is tolerating Maya. Otherwise he would have thrown her out the moment she hugged him.

Has Anuj started to view MAAya in a different way after the kiss? It's the only justification behind the lies he told today. Why would MAA be upset at Anuj for something he had no control over? I really don't understand how would telling her that MAAya kissed him will shatter her. First, he extended MAAya's contract by 1 month without consulting her. Now, he is hiding such a big incident from her. They are all red flags. How is he still letting MAAya stay at his house, sit beside him, and talk between him and his wife?

No he hasn't. But he understands if he tells Anupama about Maaya's harkat, Anupama will be hurt which he doesn't want. Maybe he is thinking that if he tells Anupama about this and Anupama kicks Maaya out of KM, Maaya might take CA with her which is what Anuj doesn't want.
