She is capable of delivering lectures to the Judge also should it come to that just like she gave the Child Welfare Inspectors who were called to Shah House on complaint for negligence.

Anupama manages to gaslight everyone into thinking that she can do no wrong every single time. She acts like she is not from this world and is the only one who can reach a morally sensible conclusion..

Why doesn’t she act like a human being for once ?? She is about to lose her daughter possibly to a lady she doesn’t even know, and her first reaction is to be mahaan? How is she able to call Maya to live with them so easily? Anuj’s reaction seemed more genuine. He’s not willing to give up his child ..

in a normal situation a person would think long and hard about the situation but here Anupama immediately concluded that MAAya must come and live in their house.

I think Choti Anu is better off with Maaya so that she will at least be spared from the Shah family’s demeaning behavior.. but what I am trying to say is that Anupamaa’s “fear” of losing Choti Anu just doesn’t seem genuine.

Also, she has no respect for her husband whatsoever. Even if supporting Maya is the right call, then she should have at least discussed with Anuj before inviting Maya over to their house. She did the same when she brought the whole Shah family over to their house without even informing him.

Keeping all d jokes & fun aside, I really agree with your point.

On a serious note, unfortunately gaslighting or narcissistic behaviour are not visible / identifiable to normal people. People who manage to spot such traits are often who have at some point in life suffered because of these traits in their surrounding people.

We all in a funny way pointout certain things or charachter flaws, which some people seem to think is rude or harsh, but the reality is those people havent had any experience with such things & hence lack of sensitivity & biased outlooks .

MAA's concepts are really going down the drain. Instead of finding out the reasons from MAAya over why she left CA and discussing with her over a possible arrangement, she has made it into a competition over proving whose motherly love and affection is greater.
