An old obsession to finally achieve what he had lost.

He kept telling himself all his life that it was the bad world that kept Anupamaa away from him. If he would have proposed to her, she would have definitely said yes, without even considering that he might not be her type, or she might be too shy to go against her parents or she might actually want an alpha male like Vanraj.

In the last scene of the prequel he came to see her once or maybe make a move on her but left because he found her happy, and this time he tried his luck because he found her sad.

He basically rescued a drowning damsel in distress, who had made high claims of making it on her own after divorce but was failing at it miserably. She would have married anyone who helped her and her family so many times, and undeservingly so.

She must have assumed that just her presence like a winning trophy would be enough for Anuj and she could continue doing what she did before with just a change in marital status. It worked while divorcing Vanraj, should have worked while marrying Anuj too, RIGHT???

But Alas, Anuj started looking for a real wife and mother in her

Leela was right in so many ways. The wife and mother quota in Anupamaa are now exhausted and she is already in queue of becoming a grandmother and actually looking forward to it.

How will she get an impulse to be a mother again? Plus she has no experience in handling a child like CA who was born mentally adult. Her own kids are still either spoilt, retarded, or unhealthily attached to her.

She has been used to being locked out of the house at the slightest misbehavior, and agreeing to unfair demands by throwing tantrums, how will she understand things like requesting, pleading, sacrificing and adjusting, that come normally to Anuj and CA but are alien concepts to her, unless she is the one doing it.

It's clearly forced attempt at proving that he considers her an equal. He was clearly not interested in either hugging her or doing PDA. He probably wants to sit at home and sulk, but cannot even do that because he has lost so much time in cleaning up Shah mess.

But MAA wants him to take a holiday forgetting that his absence will be his loss as he is his own boss, unlike her ex who had paid leaves but chose to spend them with Kavya.

And Instead of offering to go to office with him and help him in his work she has some experience in, MahaMAA turns her nibbi-mode and doing what she has 26 years of experience in, cooking and something she has no experience in, seduction.

FYI, the prequel clarified that Maharaj was probably never interested in her and imagined Ritika even when he conceived his children and Kavya everytime after that, so Seduction is really not her forte.

Agreed, Anuj needs time he is broken from all this stuff from he has put up with.

Anupama should of went herself and brought Choti Anu back.

She needs to focus on her kid and man.

anupama is not such an educated woman that she understands to read mind or heart or soul etc

all she knows is to please husband by cooking and keeping him happy

or please her kids or in laws by slaving for them

shes not so mature even at 45 years to understand other things like soul talk, heart feelings, self realization or self actualization

alll that requires a level of maturity that forget anupama even anuj does not have much of all that

or before wedding he would realize what he will get after marrying anupama if he had that maturity

but seeing CA suffer because of anupama and shahs he started slowly understanding his faults but till when we wonder

few tears by anupama and emotional blackmails and he will be busy slaving for her and her family shahs forgetting his own family and relatives

i am scared for CA will he forget her like malvika or abandon her to please anupama and shahs

Honestly I dont know what was that, softcore would be my best bet 🤢. And I did NOT plan or intend to watch softcore in an ITV that’s for sure, we have other sources. 😡

@Motherhood OT - Yeah, it’s becoming cringier every passing day, if that’s possible. Anupama, now I’m quite convinced, didn’t get the hurt or the reason Anuj faced or explained at all !! What would a normal wife do after Anuj explains the concerns to her ? A normal wife would spend more time on her unfinished courses, take some time off for her own self, call up CA 2-3 times a day (which is normal if a kid of her age is on vacation for overnight stay, and btw, I am 34, and of course don’t live with my parents but with my husband and kid, and my mom still calls me 2 times a day 😳😆) and calm down to process the spouse’s concern and think of an effective way to change herself. Trying to think through the situations her abusive ex-MIL would again call her and how she can say NO, so that when it actually happens in a day or 2, she can finally end up saying NO.

Spending time on lighting 1 million candles when there are so romantic lamps already these days is the LAST thing that’d come to anyone’s mind.

I am so glad Anuj is at least speaking out his feelings. High time he does. I am done with his ‘meri Anu’ and ‘kaise kar leti ho tum yaar’ nonsense. A man behaving calm and composed and still hurt is a new thing for Anu. While I know she has ears and hearing capacity, does she have brains to understand and act appropriately as per the concern to fix what’s broken ?
