The reason show is successful is because it had those 90's era vibes where there used to be so many films on family background of saas bahu drama in which evil saas and in laws torture bahu and then bahu becomes successful and take revenge and cruel in laws will finally realize their mistakes after getting their "karmo ka phal".

People thought this show anupama will be the same. They sat through all of leela's, ladla's and others injustice to anupama in the hope that one day she will retaliate. Trps started increasing when divorce happened and when anuj came as powerful man. People thought now anu not will get love but also punishe all those shah jokers with anuj's help.

But nothing of that sort happen. Since for indian audience it becomes more of a habit to watch a particular show rather than interest and anyway there is no any other interesting show on itv so they kept watching it, maintaining a decent trp.

The reason that show has not broken all records of success till now is because the much awaited justice, punishment of the culprits, revenge, "karmo ka phal" has never happened. Logo ki aas adhuri hi reh gayi baa, vanraj and others ko nark ki aag mein jalte dekhne ki. Anuapama inke chungal se nikalke bhi inki maid hi bani reh gayi. Sath mein anuj bhi free ka maid hi bana. Instead of seeing anuj pulling out anuapama of the dark, she lured him into the darkness. So people can have sympathy for anuj and anupama and may be their love for them is what still keeping them glued to tv but the moment writers decide to give proper and well deserved punishment to shahs, i can guarantee that all trp records will be broken.

But makers are too sceptical about that track. With shahs kaand on repeat and MaAn mopping after scene, makers have found a tried and tested formula and they don't want to deviate from it.

Beg to differ here. There are/were actually decent shows. Cant call ITV good because they screw themselves after some time. Some Sony/Star Bharat shows were/are good. But we are seeing law of inertia wherein people just dont care ki kya hora. Bas 10 baje dinner karte time kuch dekhna hai and koi new show dekhne se better hai wahi wala dekhe. As far as I have seen ladies of our mom's age do not like to experiment much and that is the result that YRKKH is running and running.

Yep but only if certain someone allows them. Or else this may happen when the show is taking a leap or about to close. Till then this crapfest will go on.

Yeah Anupama after getting insulted for the nth time give bhashaans nth time and the episodes had MaAn sprinkled around. Once in a blue moon Anuj gets dome dialogues when Mr Hero is on leave. I still believe if they kill Anuj and use that to make Anupama realise the vileness of Shahs then also trp will be all time high. Yeah they would lose a major chunk of online audience but offline trp would be steady as long as they give a good story. But the thing good story likhne ke liye research karna padta hai. KGF dekhne se kaam nahi hota. Abhi same cheez ghuma phira ke dikha dete hai.. BV ka bhi faayda hai
