Home or Sasuraal...

So a few episodes back when Pakhi came to live in KM....Anu told her that their relationship is different here as KM is Anu's sasuraal and then yesterday she says this is her home...Pakhi nikal jaa Anupama Anuj Kapadia ke ghar se....matlab kaun likhta hai itni bokwaas.....does a parent-child relationship ever change?

How come KM is not Pakhi's mayaka...just like Shah house is her mayaka....parent ka ghar is mayaka...right? Is this women empowerment show...jahan Anupama ki identity he nahi....why is KM not Anupama's home and Pakhi's mayaka?

This serial has given me an identity crisis. I don't know which is my Sasural, which is my Mayka, which is ny home. I am so confused. 😭

What is this concept of parents home or maayka? Is the house where a girl grew up not her own at all? As per whom? So if a guy were to move out of his house post marriage and live in a separate accommodation will his parents house be called his maayka? Anupamaa didn't even think once when it came to ousting Pakhi but Paritosh who has done worse was brought back and even tolerated in the Shah house. When Paritosh wanted to move into a penthouse out of greed as well that time nobody thought of kicking him out.
