What is Forgiveness

I wonder what is forgiveness.

Many different people have different opinions and principles.

I go by 4stages of Forgiveness and I cannot go beyond first stage as the people around me forgive way too easily which irritates me and pent up anger don't allow me to process my own S.

I have no concerns with Anu forgiving TrashRaj for abusing her, she cant be spending her life time seeing him and boiling her blood. My concern comes from has she really forgiven him? Basic principal of forgiveness, once u forgive someone for your own peace (with or without going through stages of forgiveness), u deny them access to you, your relationships and u set a boundary.

I gave up on Anu, caz in her forgiveness, she not only gave Trashraj unlimited access in her life n also with physical boundaries, hell him constantly touching her n she smiling is not okay for me. She is ignoring her own struggles, ignoring abuse of CA, humiliation of Anuj and self. I won't say ignore self abuse as she is blind eyed.

What kind of forgiveness is this, I wonder.

I can't understand people saying that she still has trauma from v extra marital affair so why she is okay with hugging him ??

Because if we uncomfortable with someone we even feel embarrassed to having eye contact with them
