Unfortunately Smitha they do but not to this extent. They may stay or go back to their abusers for any reason but I can assure you that is not merry go round like Anupama does. They stay or go back because they do not have any other option

I feel more than Anu, Anuj is at fault here.

He himself was orphan, he should have known the feeling, emotions or thinking of orphan child more than that of Anupama. I think Adopted children must be vulnerable so they need little bit more care.

One day Anuj says - try to keep chotti anu from shahs and next day, he helps CA in getting ready to go to Nanu-papa house. No sane person will send his child to such a place where he gets this type of treatment.

Once We were in Nany's house on summer vacation with Mom, and my dad by chance came there and saw me unattended or dont remember exactly what.. he brought us back at that moment only.

nuclear family ke baache nahi palte kya. Whats the need to impose your child on others? apne khelne ke lliye toy ya phir ek orphan ko acchi life dene ke liye adopt kiya hai.

really, I dont get what msg does makers want to convey?

if its fight bw Regressive thought and progressive thought. where is progressive thot just adopting a child . what about parenting/ frankly speaking, AK bhi kisi gawar se kum nahi hai. It does not seem that he is educated, wise and USA returned. He is blinded by the Anupama name ka chasma. i dont think AK type ke log bhi exist karte hai.

I feel really bad yaar. if they cant handle adoption properly, toh whats the need to touch this issue.

That's where his character is butchered like hell. In one hand he says he has not healed yet. Then Bro go for therapy. Adopting a kid when you yourself did not come to terms with your adoption

How will his daughter feel complete in the environment she is being exposed to? Anuj grew up in a happy environment I guess. He himself asked Anupama not to take her infront of the hero but I guess he forgot that. Selective amnesia I see.

Anuj Kapadia was written as the ideal, feminist man, who is a person of today. One who loved one person almost all his adult life, yet, did not become a Devdas by ITV standard. Who was an educated, sorted, practical and suave man who lived in today and ran a successful business. One who was a multi millionaire. It was going well till maybe his first accident. I still did not understand, how or why, a powerful business man listened to not only his, but also his father figures insults by a Nobody Vanraj and Leela Shah. But it was still maybe understandable that, he did want to fall to their level of Gali mohalle ki Tu Tu Main Main. But, after his first accident, the character’s arc changed completely, he became this love sick goof who has only Anupama on his mind.
