Personally I prefer Paras as Samar. I miss his combined innocence and maturity in the role of Samar. Maybe the new actor will create his own personality as Samar but the first impression was under whelming for me

Besides, I sm sure that with the Anuj coma track, the show has lost and will lose more of it's fans, so it's a wrong tine to enter in the show.

Which is why streaming/ott platforms have been such a boon. From genuine acting skills to tight story lines and more money and freedom to actors. Can you imagine the likes of jitendra kumar, divyendu sharma, vikrant massey, samantha prabhu, gitanjali kulkarni etc being limited by ITV and their narrow minded writers and producers?

I am not even talking about so many great senior and talented actors who were on fringe of bollywood but now get leading roles in OTT, like pankaj tripathi and jaideep alhawat

Indians who don't move to OTT are doing themselves and the industry a disservice

Exactly. He is very bad at acting. I think he did 3 shows as parallel leads(or almost equivalent to lead) but no improvement. He is good-looking, young, tall and fit. If he improves his skill, he can easily reach greater heights but he is just trying to stir controversy out of this groupism.

Before lockdown, we had good actors as well as decent shows. Even if it turns typical, we are fine with watching it as it gives some entertainment ir for masala. But see the present day shows, most of the new faces and even the old faces do nothing but over acting. We have shows which breaches and destroys morality in the name of showing grey character. Then whitewashing... Even for timepass, you can't see the show.

Haha. I am familiar with only post 2010 shows except those so called iconic K soaps. 🤣

I am not following any shows at present. Sometimes Naagin 6 clips to witness how foolish the writers could be. Otherwise I see all the present show's clips to know what is going on. Soon I'll stop that too. The last show I followed was, Sasural Genda Phool 2. That was nice. Before that, KRPKAB3 which was a different type of crap.
