On the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Samar pays the Kapadias a surprise visit and shakes a leg. Elsewhere, the Shahs turn gloomy during the festivities.

Talking to ETimes, Sagar Parekh said that Paras Kalnawat has already established the role, and he's under immense pressure. "Anupamaa is a popular show and Samar's character is important because he is the only dutiful son and support system of Anupama in the show. I am feeling a lot of pressure and a bit nervous too because Paras who is a friend in real life, has played it so well. Entering an existing show is always a task. Also, I am new to the entire team. But I am excited and looking forward to breaking the ice with my co-actors," said Sagar.

Sagar Parekh has already shot his scenes with Rupali Ganguly and shared that she made him feel comfortable. The actor also confirmed that he never watched Anupamaa but his family watches it. "I have shot with Rupali madam and she has helped me a lot on the set. I did not get time to watch the show earlier, but now I have watched Samar's role closely. My family watches the show, so they also keep telling me about the character and how he has many shades to play. Of course, I don't have to do the same thing and I will bring my own abilities and talent to the role," said the actor.

Talking about Sagar Parekh, he has been in the industry for the past six years and is originally from Ahmedabad. Sagar has appeared in series like, Fanaa: Ishq Main Marjawan, Internet Wala Love and Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.

Rakshabandhan

Lil Anu wants to go to Nanu papa's house in Rakshabandhan. She expresses her wish to tie Rakhi around Nanu papa, moochwala uncle, Samar Bhaiya and Toshu Bhaiya. She feels incomplete without Shah family. Can someone please explain me why is this kid so attached to that house when all she got from there is abuse and negligence. She was welcomed in Kanta's house but still she expressed no desire to go there. What an unrealistic character.

New Samar makes a grand entry. Sorry but could not connect to the new mother son duo. Maybe it will take some time.

Barkha is nervous about the announcement Anuj is going to make. Ankush consoles her by saying that he is also nervous but nobody has seen tomorrow. They feel it will be a new beginning for them.

Dolly misses Anupama. Dolly, Kinjal, Kavya, Bapuji and Mamaji leaves for K house. Pakhi wants to join them but V forbids her.

A total filler episode. So next day Pakhi will seek forgiveness from Anupama and all will celebrate festival together. Such a superficial family. The only thing they know is to celebrate festivals when they should be working on celebrating relationships.

Anuj paralysis track starts from Monday. It was necessary to show us some heartfelt meaningful MaAn conversations before this depressing track starts. In every show before the leads separate they show lots of intimate moments between them but only in this show the leads are treated like side characters. I am so tired of them treating Gaurav as an extra.

BTW, Gaurav and Rupali were looking gorgeous today.
