Why Anuj imposing his wishes on Anupamaa makes sense...

Simply because if he doesn't someone else will.

Anupamaa has been proving again and again that she cannot handle things like independence and having a mind of her own. With added responsibilities like the new hotel and dance academy, she still keeps going back to the kitchen and working as a Shah housewife.

Many people have discussed this enough that Anupamaa probably didn't want another child but agreed to keep Anuj happy, but she has already done innumerable things for almost everyone on the show which she didn't need to. And Anuj to wait for Anupamaa to automatically understand what he wants is very far-fetched, before she attempts to do that she will have another person demanding her time and she will happily agree to it.

Though it may not be considerate, but I'd rather have her say "yes yes" to Anuj's wishes of having a family or swearing not to sign off the property to anyone, than to HasLee's patriarchal tantrums or babysitting for KinTosh or tolerate Ravanraj's taunts with the skin of a hippopotamus.

True. First I thought at this age after having three kids, these new kid will be a stress for Anu. But it's possible that this kid will be a breather for her. This kid may keep her away from that toxic household and baby snake Kinjal. Anu has no interest on her career or her husband, so it's not like the kid became a roadblock to her career or marital life. Maybe because of this kid her marital life will improve as Anu always prioritize baccho ka pita so Anuj may now get the royal treatment which he deserves.

anupama cannot think independently and maturely or logically by nature

she needs a boss who can order her around every task like an junior employee

till 27 years vanraj was boss and Baa was super boss

now anuj is boss no super boss yet

anupama is used to obeying others orders all life first her mother than baa and vanraj now anuj etc

yes with anuj she says no but for wrong reasons - shes slowly learning to say no but has no maturity to say when to say no to shahs

Anupamaa has spent a life of servitude for about 27 years now. She has proved that is no longer suited to be independent and to live for her own self and has established that there is a reason why people don't change careers after 40 because they cannot let go of their reflexes.

Hence its more acceptable if she keeps utilizing her motherly tendencies on Anu Jr. instead of the toxic Shah house.

I think even before marriage she was a servant to her mother and brother
