I get your points. Here though the situation is very different.

1. When your kids are smaller, you have a certain amount of power over their emotions. Therefore, when your kids are younger and they get a younger sibling, there are steps the parents can take to ensure that the older siblings accept their decision. This is not the case for adult children. You can try talking to them but their psychology is not easily amenable.

2. I am not saying Anu should throw away baby Anu like kachra. Isme baby Anu ki kya galti hain? Lekin Anu does not have the right to spring her on her older children and get b*tthurt when they don't accept her. All she can expect from them is to treat her nicely. I mean just because they were mean to Anupama in the past doesn't mean that they have no right to express their feelings to her when she asks them to? I mean she was like mere haath math chodo and Toshu said bahut saare logon ke haath pakadoge tho kuch choot chayenge. It is an inevitable consequence and Anupama has to accept it without playing the victim card
