Friends! What's so bad about starting this adoption track now?
After 4 days of absolute b.... no, not bliss, but .... BOREDOM (why else would Anu start eating chips the first night at the hotel and make Anuj dance like he just escaped from an asylum?), so - after 4 of such indescribable days,
Why not, indeed, start bringing in this new track now? SERIOUSLY:
1. The theme of adoption is a strong one. Too much thought is given to Suhaag raats (😉), IVF, surrogacy et al., whereas attention to and care for children in foster homes and orphanages is next to nil.
I have been dealing with several such cases across India and I can tell you, your heart breaks to see those little babas and tods and bigger ones there. Children abandoned, children thrown out, children having run away (as young as they are) ---- ðŸ˜
How the makers will deal with this? G.O.K. (And we bypass the long procedure involved - for this is ITV ...)
2. We might as well accept that things are going now at break-neck speed. First they broke OUR necks, dragging the story of confession from December to March. Then they broke our backs, cutting short the fun college date and stretching out the wedding preps like chewing gum across a bench in the park. Finally, they broke our hearts, skipping what a wedding night and honeymoon are really all about 🥺
3. Therefore: let's ENJOY hearing Anupama being called MAAA, real nicely by this little girl. She looks cute, by the way - and not (so) precocious as some ITV kids.
And let's ENJOY EVEN MORE hearing Anuj being called PAPAPAPA, and seeing him be the great daddy he could/would be.
Can we see him on all fours with little Anu (what's in a/that name) on his back, pretending to be a lion or an elephant ?? Etc. etc. 🤣
So, let's stop feeling bad for ourselves and give RG and AK a chance showing up as Super-parents.
Unless the Adoption Track is scheduled for the end of the year.....🤪
