Anu ki story was to highlight her sadness that she couldn't enjoy her wedding and that was not out of choice. they didnt have any other option cus of the financial condition.

iss mein, it is more like he is doing it khushi se - again, not that he should be either in the first place cus after all shaadi hai toh he needs to enjoy all rasams but i think they wanted to probably highlight 2 things - one doing things out of choice is better than doing out of force and other that men can also take the lead and/or participate in household chores/stuff like women (and look just so irresistable. matlab ☺️)

on the other thing of the gadha bit, i agree with baaki sab. if babuji's character was any better, the banter would've been much better. again, the banter could have been much better and a different word could have been used but baap re the writing!

oh yes, also the joru ka ghulam bit - not cool at all. that tweet you shared. again not something that was needed uss din bhi.
