The Pot calling the Kettle black

The title pretty much summarizes today’s episode. Junior Shah aka Pot was spewing hatred to Senior Shah aka Kettle. A classic example of bad parenting. Bachpan mein kaan ke niche sitar or violin baja dete toh yeh din dekhne ki naubat nahin aati. Kinjal was right when she said that her husband is jumping from shoulder to shoulder, kabhi pitashri ka toh kabhi saas ka. Khud ke pairon par khada nahin hua aai tak and chala apne baap ko taane maarne. Whatever Toshu said today was true and Vanraj deserved every ounce of it. However, Toshu shouldn’t have been the one spewing it as he is his father’s mirror image.

On a side note, Writers have assassinated Kinjal’s character completely. Gone are the days when she took a stand for her MIL and feminism, when she said either Vanraj Shah will live in the house or I will. Aaj kal toh she can’t control her own mother let alone the rest.

Needless to say, Anupama ki sangat mein rahoge toh toxicity ke liye ready ho jao. Anupama’s sangat is like a Black Hole that sucks all the powerful personality traits of a person and renders them a doormat.

P.S. Honorable mention- when Kinjal schools her mother about the bhaav of Angoor. 😂

Yup, Anupama is a co-dependant person. My favourite character is rakhi Dave. She is a total naagin, but she has the best character judgment skills. Ek najar me jaan gai ki shah family kinjal ke liye sahi nahi hai. Dusri taraf anupama hai, janti hai ki ye shahs uski har khushi se jalte hai aur uske har ache occasion ko kharab karte hai, fir bhi apne sabhi occasion ko shah family k sath hi celebrate karna hai. Kabhi apni galti se kuch nahi sikha usne.

At the end of the day, everyone makes choices. Toshu is a huge hypocrite, at least his father goes after what he wants, whilst Toshu piggy back off from his MIL or his dad. All the education Toshu has, why can't he start a business? He's no longer a child, he's grown man with family, he no longer has an excuse to be blaming others for his foolishness. As for Kinjal, I do not feel any ounce of sorrow for her. She made choices and I no longer hold Anu responsible for Kinjal's choices. She too is grown. Everyone in that house will reap what they have sown, including Rakhi. Rakhi knows her daughter loves the family but using any means necessary to get her away from there, which I understand. However, to what end will Rakhi go, I'm just worried that Kinjal will end up paying a huge price due to her mother.

Yep! That's what came to mind when I saw the precap of T calling his dad a loser.

@ bold- Anu easily gets mad if her kids speak ill or mock at her or their dad. But she okay if Kinjal does that to her mom, and goes on snickering about it! 🤔

Toshu SHOULD have been the one spewing this, because Anupamaa is eveready to shut everyone up with her good-father-good-son memories of Vanraj and how-dare-you-insult-elders logic for Leela. Samar, Malvika and Devika have tried super hard and have not succeeded.

Toshu will not care about Anupamaa and will keep insulting Vanraj and Leela, much to our satisfaction.
