First of all thanks for the tags! ❤️Thoroughly enjoyed reading scenes 6 & 7!☺️Loved MaAn hug! The ease with which they indulged in PDA was so endearing! ❤️And the dance was the cherry on the cake! Tum hi dekho na is 1 of my all time favorite songs! Thanks for using it on our dear MaAn!It was a dreamy update.

Scene starts with Anu talking with herself. Didn't ponder over after the handkiss moments.. makers ki adat lag gayi .. abruptly jumped to other scene 😆

Ps. Long dialogues.. once again I blame it on Anu.. sangat ka asar you see 🤪🤣

All through her blabbering to self, Anu sensed her Anuj was nearby, and he was. Worried for her.

Crossing the distance between them, both ask each other, "aap thik hain/tum thik ho?"

Both nod simultaneously.. when she looks at him, he opens his arms. Wincing in the emotional trauma she had just faced, she embraces him.

A few moments later, "Ab thik hu" she said against his chest.

"Main bhi..."

Drawing strength from the other, the soulmates calmed down after what seemed like an eternity.

Scene cut - (after the hand kiss)

Anuj waited at the corner of the SH lane when Anu started going inside. He was still very angry with Vanraj and did not trust himself to act normally in SH.

So he waited for Anu to reach the house, at the lane outside. Before entering the gate, Anu made a face for having to go in there.

She muttered to self, "pata nahi itne saal maine iss ghar ko apna kaise liya, roz roz taane, roz roz klesh."

Looking up, "Kanhaji, aapne mujhe himmat di itna saal, uske liye thenkyou. Nahi.. shayad yeh Anuj ka pyaar tha jo aapka aashirwaad banke mujhe himmat deta raha.

Aaj pehli baar mujhe iss ghar mein jaane ka mann nahi kar raha.. shayad yeh bhi mere Anuj ka pyaar hi hain, jo mujhe sahi aur galat ki pehchaan kara raha hain..

thenk you Kanhaji, dhyaan raakhjo ha".

Seeing her loitering near the gate, he called her, "kya hua, tum ab tak andar kyu nahi gayi? Sab thik hain na?"

"Iss ghar mein kuch bhi thiik ho sakta hain Anuuj? she trailed off in anger. "khair.. bas kuch din aur.."

Suddenly she realised how did he know she was at the gate and asked him so.

He says, "right side mudke dekho," she looks at him leaning over a wall, waving and gazing at her.

She gestures "huh? ab tak yahi hain?"

He says, "aadat se majboor mohtarma.." sighs.. "bas kuch din aur.. phir toh main tumhe apni nazro se ek pal ke liye duur naa jaane du.."

She takes a deep breath and asks him to go back home and she starts going inside.

He says, "jab tak tum apne room mein nahi jaati, tab tak phone on hi rehne do please"

"I promise I will go once I know you are in your room."

She knew he was worried for her. The usual mudslinging on her her character will start again.. and she was right.

The moment she put one foot inside the door,

Baa reverberrated.. "tu aur tera woh Kapadia, humari ijjat utarke hi rahoge."

Anu retorts, "Baa andar toh aane dijiye shaanti se."

She forgot her phone call was on with Anuj.

He winced at the shouts and the taunts he heard Baa was showering upon his Anu. How did Anu face this abuse all this years. Now she was not even their DIL. Still she never flinches from doing her nonexistant duties. He clenched his fist when he heard both baa and Vanraj talking crap about Anu's character.

Baa - "besharmi ki bhi hadh hoti hain"

Vanraj - "aur kya dekhna baaki reh gaya ab.."

Anuj chuckled when he heard Anu cut in and repeated his words, "meri besharmi toh abhi aapne dekhi hi kaha hain baa, dikhau?"

"Par chahe jitni bhi besharam ho jau, aap jitni toh kabhi nahi ho sakti Mr Shah."

They continue slandering her one by one.

Though Anu was retorting back to each of them, Anuj could not take it anymore, so he cut the call. In long strides he reached SH.

The room divided with MaAn supporters on one side and the trio on the other side, with Anu standing in between. He winced seeing her hurt face.

Vanraj starts to come near him, Anuj just points his finger towards him in a stern no. Don't even dare.

Without a word, he went straight ahead near Bapuji, folding his hands,

"Main aaj ek bete hone ka haque mangna chahta hu bapuji.

Maaf kijiye, aapko aur Anu, rather sabko shayad adat ho gayi hain inke itne taane sunne ki, lekin mujhse nahi hoga.

Anu shayad kabhi bhi aaps ena kahe, lekin kya aap nahi dekh rahe yeh log uske charitra par itne nishan laga rahr hain. Agar woh aapki beti hain toh aapne samajhna chahiye ke iss ghar mein Anu ko kabhi sukh naa mila hain aur naa hi kabhi milega...

Aaj tak hum sab aapka lihaaz kar rahe hain, par ab main Anu ke khilaaf ek shabd nahi sunn sakta, bas...ab aur NAHI.

Aapse haath jodke vinti karta hu, aaj shaam sagaai hote hi aap Anu ki vidayi kijiye. Please.. Aapko iss bete ki kasam."

Bapuji seems to be shocked and gets lost in thought over what Anuj said.

Anu, flabbergast with his outburst and his worry for her, slowly goes near him, "Anuuj!! Main haar gayi",

(Referring to their convo earlier in the day when he had said, "toh haar jao na..")

They share their usual eyelock..

"Ek aur baat kehni thi.."

When he raises his eyebrow in a question,

"I ..love ..you....Anuuj...."

And she embraces him in front of all..

Wanted to see this on screen..but oh well.. scene starts before the so-called mehndi function starts 🤔

Anu texted Devika to bring Anuj with her to Anu's room first when they reached SH. Devika had also wanted to meet Anu before the function.

Much to the trashy trio's chagrin, both Devu and Anuj skipped and jumped and ran to Anu's room. Trashy followed them. Anu closed the door shut on his face. Devika had a small gift in her hand, same as Anu.

Anuj asked, "batao bhi kyu bulaya hain yaha.. not that i don't mind being with just the two of you.. but neeche kuch logo ko mirchi lag sakti hain."

Devika laughs but Anu slaps his elbow lightly.

Devika offers the gift she had brought, "yeh tum dono ke liye, naye safar ki shuruvat ek meethi si yaad ke saath. Jaldi dekho aur batao kaise laga.."

Anuj and Anu, both open the gift wrapped box. Both are rendered speechless.

It was the coffee cup, flattened out in a wooden frame, on which Anu had written, "maine Anuj ko haa keh di hain" when she had decided to become his business partner..

Below Devika had quoted, "duniya ke sabse bhole, pyaare dosto ke liye.. stay happy together..always ❤

Anu remembered the cup and she filled in the details to Anuj as he was unaware of this exchange back then.

All three got teary eyed. "By God tum dono khud toh rote hi ho, mujhe bhi rulake rahoge!!"

It was Anu's turn now, she gifted Devika.. mimicked Devu's words.. "jaldi khol aur bata kaisa laga gipht."

She opened a photo frame of all three of them clicked by Anu's mom when Anu had left SH.

She had written below the photo,

'yaa toh dosti gehri hai yaa yeh photo 3D hain..Friends forever - #ADA ( anu, devu, anuj)'

Anuj held Devika by the shoulders,

"Thank you Devu, hamesha mera aur Anu ka saath dene ke liye..hamare pyaar ki shuruvaat bhi teri wajah se hui.. else I wouldn't even have planned the reunion, had it not been for you.."

For once Devika was rendered speechless.. she just managed to open her arms for a group hug.

"Saalo tum logo ne rula hi diya mujhe," she blinked through her tears..

Someone called Devika downstairs. She started to go. Anuj and Anu started following too. But she being a sweetheart, stopped them.

"Tum kaha jaa rahe ho.. chance mila hain akele rehne ka toh dance maarlo".. she winked and ran off..leaving both of them behind red faced.

This part ahead .. is nonsense. But so is the show these days..

and this is an alternate MaAn universe.. so what the heck...

I had to take off my mind from the atrocious mehndi design, so... please bear with me.. i am facepalming myself but lets do it together.. 🤪

Contemplating to say or not, she finally asked him, "Ek kaam karenge?"

"Jo aap kahe"

She made sure the door was shut properly and came in front of him. Closing in the gap, she slid her pallu slightly lower. Handing him a mehndi cone, unable to meet his eyes,

"Aap ek chota sa design bana denge.. main chahti hu sabse pehle mujhpe mehndi aapke haath se hi lage"

He had a bright smile at her gesture. He lifted her chin to gaze in her eyes seeking permission to touch her on the collar bone. Her eyes nodded a yes..

First he struggled but finally drew something. Tiny movements just below her left collar bone spent shivers for her.

He blew air on it. She closed her eyes to get engulfed in the sensual tension.

He took her by the shoulders near the dressing table.

"Dekhiye toh madam agar aapko pasand ho toh.. else I can draw elsewhere too.."

What with his arms that roamed near her waist and then near the navel.. she could just gasp at his ministration..

Slowly opening her eyes, she saw him holding her waist, looking lovingly at her flushed face..

The tiny mehndi design almost on her heart.. made by him...

It symbolised the happy journey (?) she was about to embark with him.

Careful not to ruin the henna, she turned around to give him a soft peck on his cheek as her thank you.
