There you said it, something I had been thinking myself since I was the DKP promo and mentioned earlier during Holi scene too.

This new Anuj's character, persona, behaviour is so different that I feel absolutely NO connect with the earlier poised, elegant business tycoon.

During Holi, this drunk Anuj didn't behaved like Mumbai wala drunk Anuj. And then doing Anu ki aarti is fine, like ghar ki Laxmi ki Aarti we do. And since there is no lady in his house, he is doing it. But the dialogues, were so bad. Honestly, kal wo promo dekh ke mera serial ke liye excitement thoda aur kaam ho gaya. Ek to Baa ki bakri Anu waise hi ab mujhe achchi nahi lagti. And now Anuj ka charm bhi dheere dheere kaam ho raha hai

Is this strategy of makers HERO 🤔 but then why is GK not adding his own nuances.

Totally agree and just realised while reading this. Ye Anu mahaan Dolly ki beti Minu ko palegi kyunki Dolly is working. But apne bin maa ke nephew Nihal ki ise rati bhar bhi fikar nahi. Divorce se pehle Baa ne roka tha par ab kis ne roka hai. Her poor mother, she does all household chores and then make Achar Papad to sell and get some more earning. Par Anu ko kya farak padta hai, sahi hai, Anu deserves Pakhi as daughter.

Anuj's scene with driver was just comic relief. I understand what you mean.

The panache was there earlier. But this is my take on this. At that time, he was this aloof business tycoon who never let him emotions out because he was careful no one should be able to read his love for Anu etc. He maintained his distance etc. That gave a sense of mystery around it and a lot of people usually feel drawn to a mystical man. Whereas now, he wears his heart on his sleeve. I really miss the old AK. With the three piece suit, with his magnets, with his silver watch.

The magnets i understand were a piece that he kept so that he felt Anu's presence in his life and now he doesn't need those magnets anymore. But i want business tycoon Anuj back desperately. I saw a bit of it on Holika dehan. The way he walked off to meet Anu in the kitchen ... It's just that suave AK has taken a step back and college boy Anuj is front and centre.

I liked the whole progressive gang talk. I don't believe in nazar, so I dont want to comment on kinjal doing that etc etc.

Bapuji scene with mamaji was nice. I too didn't watch if first, then I watched it the second time around. Was difficult to watch, but he spoke right.

Pakhi is a pendulum so she will be here and there who cares.

Tomorrow shaadi prep and in prep for next kaand.

This week has been. Exhausting.. phew ! I guess GK went on leave because with shaadi track i think he was told he cannot go on leave for a while. Who knows..

Nice and different perspective on Anuj, quite believable too. Thanks for sharing.

I don't agree with bapuji's decision of marriage in shah house. It looks forced, just because they want to cut the cost and don't want to spend money.

I wrote 3 paragraphs of review and then my internet acted weird and I lost all of the stuff I wrote 😩😩😩😩

Basically my review is similar to Amy re: the goofy Anuj. We did watch the suave, calm, and cold Anuj Kapadia in Maha Shivratri and Holika Dehen episodes. Now everyone has different shades to show in different situations with different people, so Anuj seemed Anuj to me in his behaviour and mannerisms. He’s just too joyful and excited to be able to finally get married to his Anu. And shaadi ka laddoo toh aisa hi hota hai 😆 But when he has to become calm and cold again with the Shahs, I’m sure he will!

I found the episode bearable because of the progressive Shahs’ scenes. ✌🏾 And watching MaAn even for seconds after a long week of wait felt like finding water in the desert 😍😍😍

Lastly I’m trying to make peace with the fact that the marriage is taking place from Shah house and Anu cannot disown Baa … At least Anu tried to convince Bapuji to let the marriage happen elsewhere but looks like Bapuji is too much in a guilt and unko paap dhona hai 🤪 Taking one episode at a time, I’ll relish the positives and the rotten faces of toxic six and ignore the rest

It's been week no proper ss of Anuj or MaAn added to this baa aur anu ka bakwaas drama. Who will watch? No excitement was created from promo. We can't expect logic from makers atleast give something we can enjoy. Let them do what ever they want very soon we all can exit from this show for our own good
