Love. Can happen any time

I am so impressed that finally a show is being shown that is realistic! Women are frowned upon if they wish to re marry or find love again and it’s accepted for men! Why should anu not date and love again! She should and I hope they show her going on to marry him and get the happiness she deserves. They need to show this show in a positive light and yes it won’t be easy for her but she must follow her dream and for the first time in her life put herself first. Who cares if u are 30, 40 or 70! If u r alone or unhappy and want someone new in ur life then everyone should encourage it. Ur never too old for love!!! Let’s hope the Indian mentality moves with the time.

I totally agree with you. Anupama has every right to put her happiness first. She had suffered a lot for her so called family. Enough is enough.

I want to share one incident with you all. I belong to an educated middle class family. Atleast I used to think that till last year. Few years ago my mami ji died of cancer. My mamu was hardly 39yrs old with 2 small kids at that time. Same year my mausa ji met with an accident and expired. It was a double tragic for our family. Also maasi was quite young at that time, coz she is younger to mamu.

Then entire family started searching for a girl for mamu. U won't believe guys we got somany good proposals for mamu .Finally within one n a half yr he got married to a professor (new mami). Nothing wrong in that, we all are happy for mamu. But nobody thought about maasi coz she is a widow and a mother of a small kid. Family influence lagakar maasi ko teacher ki job dila diya. We cousins often talk about this, also ask our parents about masi's 2nd marriage. Sab hume chup karadete the, bolte the we all are there for her ,but this is the max we can do for her. 🤔

Last year we got a proposal for masi. He is from a okay family, doing well professionally. He had met masi many times and is well aware of her condition. I never thought my so called educated family will deny to the proposal. First 6months Nanu, nani didn't even respond to it. Hum bacho ne bahut chillaya, par hamari koi sunta hi nahi. Every one tried to manipulate masi ,but thank God after somany probs masi showed some guts and said yes to the proposal. Phir kya koi kuch kar hi nahi paya. Finally she got married in Dec last year. It was a simple arya samaj marriage, later on a small reception for family members. But mamu 's 2nd marriage we did it in a grand way, baraat leke gaye the.

I just wanna say that this is our so called society. Where we hv different set of rules for boys and girls. We present ourselves as the modern, educated, broad minded people. But we follow the same society's BS rules. 😡

That's why I was so happy to see Anupama announced her marriage infront of the whole audience. MAAN deserve all the happiness, bahut kar liya family ke liye. Ab apne liye karo.

I have my own reservations for Anupama to be honest, this is not her family, they are her X who never gave her any regard. Marriage or not she should walk away from this toxic family and openly disregard her X as an Abuser.

In real life, the parents might be old fashioned as you said but they would love, care and treat the daughter well. They did helped her secure a job. So, trying to convince the parents is still worth and understandable.

I want to accolade you, your cousins and your masi for standing strong for herself and taking the step. Respect for your new Mausa-ji too, who says Anuj is fictional. She is inspirational and society needs women like her. 👏👏👏
