This whole kite flying seems symbolic like the situation of future plot. Mukku will eventually hurt herself as vanraj is right for her. In this Anuj's fight will be picked by Anu. These two are partners na after all. And when vanraj will think that he has everything under control, boom like kavya cut the string.
I have issues with the thought process of the writers guys. My point is why to think of plots to misuse a woman multiple times. Why to start something that you know you cant handle or cant close justifiably??
Is there no other way to conceptualize a plot or sub plots?? An abusive woman or relation is not a joke. Secondly, there are certain traits in a human that is so much ingrained that what ever be the situation, he or she never ever forgets that. So again my ques, how can a writer not show that a man having brains is suddenly not displaying it even to audience?? A woman is not sensing the right thing or is unwilling to listen to her instinct just bec she is too good?? We all are good hearted, I am sure, but we also are very aware of our instincts. Why are these not pricked and why just a dumbness of a woman is shown? This is supposed to be a progressive show; then show us those thoughts. This does not mean that V will be exposed sooner. Its not easy to expose a man without facts or proofs. My problem is with the writers thinking, and ofcourse the execution. Every show does not need to downgrade the leads just to upgrade a villian. Smart plots can be visioned where positive and negative leads can play games, which will also keep audience hooked to their seats. But sadly the writers want to take the cliche route.
Ayushi, you want to know how i perceived the whole kite scene - Anuj will stumble on the way (whatever lame reason they will show), Anu will step in and ofcourse support him. Mukku will get hurt (maybe for trusting an abuser again), V will succeed or be close to success (small win), and Kavya will someway hold his reigns or cut his reigns. Tell me what is so wow about this plot??? Is this not the same old cliche way?
Whatever else I can think off will be my positive thinking and positive speculations, which this time I am refusing to make. A business man never loses his sharpness and his instinct. A woman never undermines her instinct. A abuser is by and large always an abuser as that gives him a high, unless karma beats him in a bad way and for that he need not cause harm again and again to woman. I know this is itv and drama induced show, but I am asking for good writers to think differently bec they are calling their show progressive. Is this too much an ask?? I assume so!!
Adding on that Mukku is kept inconsistent so that they can use her character as they need, or show her as they want to based on their sub plots. Its a speculation from us that she is smart and not a fool. That she is acting to bring V down. For all those who are really invested in this show - I hope so. Or else, Mukku is another character where consistency is not maintained at all. She loves her bro, yes, but her zidd is always bigger. This is the only consistency i have observed.
No offence to anyone but as a passionate writer and reader, I am totally off with this show for now!! Am usually super positive, but once again ITV has managed to disappoint me.
I really apprecaite all varied perceptions in this forum, so pls continue!! :)
I will chime in the day I feel that ok, there is some logic or rationale in how the characters are behaving and the plots are coming together.
