May be the reason why Anuj hid Malvika from Anu

First I thought she was the spoilt brat and must have done something major for them to fall out but the way the milaap happened they don't seem to have a fall out

Now I think may be it was because Anuj was so desperate in love with Anu and felt helpless and devastated that he spiraled down and went on the wrong track for a bit, or even tried to kill himself and malvika saw all his suffering and so he did not want to open that chapter in front of Anu yet because it will bring all the negativity back. Malvika may have hated Anu because of her brother's suffering so that could be another reason.

I also think so . Anu will blame herself if she get the idea that Malvika and Anuj itne yrs se uski wajay se nahi miley.

Not necessarily negative as caring for the wellbeing of ones own brother and not liking the reason for his suffering is being protective and not negative.

wow this could also be a good reason. But seeing Anuj I don't think that this is the reason. If you try to kill yourself but then still love Anu will be off because what will be the drive for him to move forward especially since Anu was married. And he said that Malvika is his biggest responsibility so there is something more than what it seems.

i like this theory the best. i would like to see more scenes or flashbacks of what anuj went through at that time. i can definitely see him trying to commit suicide for her. maybe malvika finds him and nurses him back to health? she could be back in town cuz she hears that anuj-anu have connected and is now here to make sure that they arent together cuz she knows her brother is obsessed with anu....ALSOOOOO...i find it very unlikely that anuj wasnt keeping tabs on anu during the past 26 years. there is no way he wasnt getting updates on her. and if malvika knew this, she might want to stop him from going completely mad if things dont work out between him and anu.

Yes, we know he was keeping tabs on anu via Devika... for him to literally come to India after Anu's divorce and plan a reunion..hmmm?? I agree with you on wanting to see more flashback scenes specially when he was all dressed up for a great gatsby or a elvis party... woh kya thha? definitely a shade darker in the past than he is now. That past could be a whole spinoff show idea given the obsession with Anuj's character, the national hearthrobe. haha

wait what?? i missed that...where and when was he all dressed up great-gatsby-ish? or are you referring to his recent look in the tux? we dont know what happened to him after he found out anu got married...im hoping the with malvika here she will be able to shed some light on what his state was in the event immediately after. it seems like he moved almost immediately. aside from devika, this guy has money and connections. it wouldnt have been hard from him to pay someone to keep tabs on her. plusssssss i kinda get a stalker-ish vibe from him anyways. like he deflee stalked anu in college, cuz how did he stay in love with her for so long if it wasnt based on something beyond her looks ?

That is actually a great theory but then why would she be so happy to see Anupama and talk so positively towards their relationship..shouldnt she have looked atleast a little angry when she saw Anupama..also she seems like a muhfaat so she would have just taunted her..

maybe to keep him calm? like im starting to think...what if anuj is like crazy? as in Darr crazy? there's been a couple of scenes where he was expressing his love for her and i was like whoa...😕 on the outside he is deflee calm, cool, collected but evidently there is this other side of him that is obsessed with this woman who was never his. what if malvika has seen the ugly side of that love? him hurting himself in anupamaa name...him throwing things? getting violent? having a complete mental breakdown ? i mean it wouldnt be that far fetched at this point cuz we've actually seen all three atp. i mean the way she said that she has seen anu in his eyes, thoughts, poetry etc...that's him talking about her over the years with a family member. when he first comes back to india, i thought it was gonna be this guy who liked her from school and they slowly become friends...this ended up being something so much more and so much more intense. i dont think even devika knows the extent. i think only anuj does. maybe malvika knows that she has to handle the anupamaa topic very carefully otherwise it could set him off...
