Today's episode reminded me a person who is mix of both Anu and Anuj. He is my mother's best friend's husband. Uncle is so selfless that he is paying a huge loan which he took to help his friend who was on verge of suicide. He and his wife does social work in their capacity along with their regular day job. They have inculcated the same helping habits in their children too. They helped out a very bright but poor boy in his studies by selling their land and this year that boy cleared civil services with good numbers.

Also just like Anuj, he is cool regarding his wife's ex lover. Wife and ex-lover got separated due to some circumstances and wife told the complete story on the wedding day itself. After 30 years, when wife and ex-lover met again due to kismat, the ex-lover was in bad state and even before aunty could say something, uncle helped him out not just in a single instance but everytime. Sometimes, even aunty feels it odd but uncle is everready to help the guy whenever he is in trouble.

They are one kind of a couple I have come across.

I loved Anu consoling Kavya too. No matter what personal baggage you carry with someone, when they are in pain you rise above your ego and pettiness and stand by them. It was a wonderful episode today. 😍
