Anu eagerly kept checking the door for his arrival and wondered what was taking him so long...How did he even wait for 26 long years when she struggled waiting for 26 minutes she thought....Trying not to look flustered she got busy with the preparations for the anniversary celebration.
The last couple of days had been a roller coaster ride for her and he was the reason behind it all. She was totally besotted by him, lost in his thoughts and couldn't make sense of anything she did. The mention of the magnets that day made her realise how dearly he cherished her love.
Though she needed no reminders to know how much he loved her when he had confessed it to the world and to her with all his heart. She would never have given ‘them’ a serious thought if Bapuji hadn't given her the push she needed. Loving him back was long due and she knew he had earned every bit of it...His magnetic aura was impossible to ignore and she was slowly giving in to his strong pull.

The change in her was apparent to him, there was something going on with her he thought. The constant stares, the cheeky glances and the occasional day dreaming, was all unlike her...Yet, all of them being familiar symptoms, he wondered if the thing he had waited for all his life was finally in the making.....
When she brought him the chocolate cake that morning, he could taste the flavour he craved. She had made chocolate halwa for him before and that was to mark the start of their new unique relationship and now the cake? was it to mark the start of another? trembling with giddiness he hoped it was.
With no other stop to this lovebound train, Anuj went weak in the knees at the mere thought of her falling in love...And to test the waters he complimented the cake with an ‘I love you’, her reaction to it made him the happiest... is this what I think it is? he wondered and left it to love to works its magic.

With bated breath and eyes glued to the door, she mentally rehearsed the shayari she wrote for him earlier, Mr Shayar Kapadia was sure in for a surprise..
