Daily soaps always receive a mixed bag of response, so does every character. While some hit it off well with the audiences, some don't seem to do very well. However, as an actor, one has to deal with everything and in fact, get accustomed to it. India Forums got talking to Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj from Anupamaa and we asked him how does he deal with any negative responses, especially given how much fans are invested, and he has quite the wise answer to give.

Gaurav tells us, ''All these years, I have seen a bag of mixed responses from fans for so many years, for 15 years, and I am really humbled by the fact that they take so much time from their daily lives and they invest so much in us, in our characters, they discuss us, they write stories and fanfictions, etc, and they are posting and editing videos, so I am humbled and I thank the almighty that we are able to touch so many hearts across barriers and languages, nations, and everything else. So I think that is the best part being an actor that you touch so many lives together.''

He adds, ''Yes, some may agree to what we are doing and some may not agree to what we are doing, but again, we are in an entertainment field and my job is done if I can entertain them in any way. I am just thankful to fans who have stuck with me for so many years and I am sure they will keep loving me and liking my work in the future. And also, to the people who don't like my work, because that motivates me to do better and I strive for better in the next scene, so everything is welcome. Also, I have been getting so many gifts nowadays, I am really humbled, I have always got gifts throughout my career, and it is amazing, it just shows that somewhere, somebody loving your work and that is enough motivation for me to come everyday and do my best.''

Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa on Star Plus is quite the TRP topper and given the much awaited entry that Gaurav's was for the audiences, he sure lived up to it.

I couldnt believe my eyes when I read the title..I had to read it twice...which dhuki atma even gave a negative response to his character?? Not sure if this is a general conversation or particularly for Anuj..they definitely might be the viewers rooting for Vanraj and Anupamaas reunion🤣🤣🤣

The only negative response I heard initially was how young he looks for Anupamaa but now the same fans say this jodi look the best🤭😋
