TBH Anupama ko izzat raaz hi nahi aati, Anuj tried, very hard to teach her what self respect is but our tilak wali devi is a dumbass and ready to put her izzat on the line at the drop of a hat.

She made all these big jazzy claims, but we all knew they were a bunch of empty promises that she’s made time and again, since the show started I believe? correct me if I’m wrong.

The false claims didnt matter so much before Anuj came into the picture but now after they have us deeply invested in MaAn, they know they can get away with any shitty tracks and we pathetic losers will still watch and moan of course but watch in the hope of MaAn.

I understand that the actors might have other commitments and these interim tracks are thrown in to accommodate their absence but yaar do not take us for a ride and test our patience(read hopelessness) so much that we start hating the protagonist and appreciate the antagonists instead.

We are all emotional fools at the hands of the makers and they know MaAn is their trump card, ek MaAn scene dikhado and watch how the pankhies come buzzzing with their praises.

Coming back to Anu, I am not going to waste my time and energy over her anymore, she was given multiple chances but she blew it every single time.

She can join hands with Kavya, bond with Vanraj over Bapuji’s sammaan, reinvest in Toshu, or sit with Baa on that sacred bench and hug her till eternity for all I care.
I’m done hoping and I need a break to rest my fried brain.

I have 0 hope from Anupama, I am not even going to try to get into the self respect, standing up for oneself, gaining independence and enforcing boundaries analysis because there is absolutely no point. Each time Anupama takes a step ahead, she takes 3 back. At this rate, I expect 0 progression in her character or the story line.

Rather than trying to break the vicious cycle she has been a part of for the last 26 years, she's dragged Anuj into it and Anuj is too blind in love to do anything constructive. It's astounding how his role has been reduced from a suave, powerful business man to a mere showpiece who stands in the background looking pretty in the never ending Shah family showdowns.To keep the audience hooked, they throw us a bone with the occasional Maan scene or a dance sequence in one episode a week but the majority of the show focuses on the Shah family. Really makes me wonder, why the show is titled Anupama when half the screen time and the story isn't even focused on her.

What exactly was the purpose of her moving out when aadhe time Shah parivar uske yahan padha rehta hai?
