For me anu-anuj scenes are tryhard and forced - Page 2

I don’t know if it’s a hit or flop show.

I don’t watch Serials, I watch Anupama cos I like Rupali.. I used to watch Sarabhai vs Sarabhai..

I want her love life to start once she is settled.. Everything has a right time..

That’s all!

As I said, everybody deserves affection and a companionship..

Don't worry anu's love life will not start so soon. We only know about anuj's feelings right now and we also know that anu doesn't have any lovey dovey feelings for him for sure. She has also said it repeatedly. And anuj also knows it. He gifted her fairy globe thing and said she is self sufficient she doesn't need anyone with her.

So for now anu will not reciprocate his love until she settles down.

Maybe in the minority here. But for me their (anu anuj) scenes seem forced/meh/ughh. Its the most boring part of the show. Vanraj-kavya dynamics and scenes, even kinjal-toshu or baa-babuji scenes seem much more authentic and organic.

I feel like chi wapas anuj/anu ka scene jhelna padega forward karo and also samar-nandini is on the same league... so forced and unnatural.

The most enjoyable scenes are rakhi daves and anus friend devikas.

I don’t mind their scenes as Anu’s role is played out really well and she is clear on what she wants so far. Whilst AK is charming I do find him too much sometimes. It’s like watching a teenager with a huge crush which at my age is rather boring to watch after the first few times.

When I came out of a long term relationship myself a few years back and started dating some time after, I found that some guys of similar age whether single or divorced did behave like mushy teenagers and it was off putting at times. I don’t know if it’s what happens with some guys as they age whereas with many women coming out of a relationship like that seem more sorted. This is just my own experience and that of people I know.

I don't find them forced. But I find it quite annoying that Anuj has become another Anupama. It's sickening.

So I find their scenes quite boring. There's no - story progression in their scenes anymore. It's stagnant. He's motivating her, she's being giddy with happiness. Progress was when - she said she was lucky to have him, progress was after the bhumi pujan showdown, they had a talk. All that was progress..now it's the same old thing and it's become boring. I need Anuj to do something - that need not be shouting in Vanraj's house. 🤪 Like what shit. Move out of this circus, Anuj. Anupama can't be saved. But looks like even Anuj can't be saved.

Thing is their DOSTI phase is boring now. That's why i am kind of excited for upcoming week when Anuj will confess his love and Anu hears it. As much as i am dreading Anu's reaction i am OK with it as now story kuch to aage badegi. May be KInjal and Devika will put some sense into Anupama brain. Khair jo bhi ho iss confession ke baad story will move forward.

I disagree, MaAn scenes dont seem forced.

Dip PE Pathar rakh ke I have to say, I agree. Is this opinion minority here??? Didn’t know. But yes sad but true . Chemistry jam nehin rahi. Both are fab actors, but something is missing. Don’t know what.

The dialogues, the execution, don’t know what??? But yes true.

I get what OP is trying to say, it is premature for a fully blown Anu-Anuj love story and the way show is going at the moment- they seem to want to reiterate and emphasise Anuj loves her again and again and again which has made the story stagnant and doesn't help it progress in any way.

Thank you for all your comments and glad to know i am not alone in my views. Many find their scenes lacking. Maybe its the boring dialogues, maybe their chemistry or maybe the way character anuj is shaping up. But the writers better step up as anuj-anu scenes occupy huge screen time and wont want a chunk of viewers losing interest and changing channels.
