Bapuji Bad

OK..

I just binged watched the last weeks episode in fast forward mode. Just to catch up.

After Vanraj's outburst at the bhumi pujan Bapuji apologizes to Gk and when he returns to his home he just gives silent treatment to Vanraj? He tries to guilt trip him(?) I guess... But obviously.. I was not satisfied.

Bapuji failed as a father for Anupama..

She was insulted on her most special day by his 'Ladla' Beta. Her character was Questioned.

If he was her real father then A slap would have happened in middle of the all keechad-uchalna. I know that because my father would have erupted into a volcano if anyone even tried to tarnish my image. Real father don't just stand there hearing everything without any sort of anger.

Did his silent treatment ever work?

Are hey showing that because he is a heart patient? And According to ITV heart patients have heart attack every time they are angry?

He can give lectures of high values and what else but does he really think Anupama as his daughter? If Dolly was in Anupama's place, would he still give the silent treatment to that person whoever just slandered her?

Anyways I did not like him before for many reasons:

1. He never stopped Leela from her taunting Anupama.. even though he knew her reason was so baseless and kinda stupid

2. He turned a blind eye to all the toxicity Anupama had to face from the one and only Raavanraj

3.Forced his so called daughter to stay in the same house where her ex-husband(When there were many other alternative to be with this daughter)

And many many more reasons but this time he was really so useless that it is actually more harmful than Baa

Bapuji has no control over vanleela he is mostly a mute spectator .

Holi mein anu ke outburst mein she said how bapuji never supported her education when vanleela stopped it , dolly was studying then why can't bapuji support anu ?

Jabse Anuj ne anu ko offer diya hai kitni baar uske character pe question hua kya kiya Bapuji ne kuch nhi .

I know it's anu's fault but emotional manipulation Bapuji ka hi tha , even he knows no one is happy in d house still not doing anything.

Bapuji is meethi churi who know this family can will not survive without anu , only she can work as maid

Beti kehana or sach mein beti mane me fark hota hai .

BV mein bhairo sa Anandi FIL was really a great character who supported Anandi much more than his own daughter sughna .

Your post reminded me of one I had made 9 months back to rant about Bapuji. One would think that with everything that has transpired since then he would have understood the need to be more firm in standing up for Anupama, but… sigh

In any relationship it is the responsibility of the person in a power position to Intervene when things are not ok or go out of control. Baapuji watches mutely whenever Vanleela are doing their Thaandav.

You need to speak up when needed. The silent treatment would be effective if it had evoked a response. It hasn't it is convenient for Vanleela to blame everything from failing relationship on Maan.

Anupama should leave the hell hole.

Tub anupama bapuji ko kisi tarah hospital le kar gayi aur bapuji ki surgery kar wayi. Uske baad se bapuji ne jyaada chillana band kar diya

Kyonki bapuji ne dekha ki jub anupama ne bapuji ki care hospital mein ki to bhi vanraj anupama mein blame laga raha tha agar bapuji ko khuch ho gaya to hum tumhe chodenge nahin

To aisa nahin bapuji ne oppose nahin kiya aur oppose karne ke liye chillana ya abuse word kehna jaroori nahin hai

I agree. With authority comes responsibility. Relying on Anupama's fortitude and resilience to always bear the brunt of Leela and Vanraj's taunts (although that seems a tame word for what they have always subjected her to) is unfair.

Anupama needs to understand that while respect for your elders is very important, your self respect is as important. It's not easy to suddenly switch the dynamics of 26 years, but unless she steps up and speaks to Baa in her more lucid moments, this verbal abuse is not going to end.
