I've disliked Baapu ji ever since he stopped Anu from leaving the Shah Circus. After what happened today when V insulted MaAn & then Baapu ji hung his head in shame when facing Anu's brother, the man still won't admit what a terrible mistake he has made.

He has been supportive of Anupamaa now because inside he knows he is guilty for keeping quiet the last 26 years as his financial responsibllities were being covered by his son. He turned a blind eye to his wife who abused Anu daily. Even now his support is self serving: to.keep Anu in the house so she can continue being their subservient shadow Bahu who cooks for them & takes care of all their needs. After what happened with Anupamaa he is the one that needs to tell her to move on.

If he doesn't it just shows he is just as selfish as his wife but hides it better.

I was thinking the same actually. Apologizing doesn't reduce the wrong he has done by emotionally blackmailing anu for staying back in their cage.

Instead of anuj bapuji should have advised her to move out and stop taking shit from vanraj, baa and all others

Even if you discount all that, Anupama slogs daily round-the-clock, while the new DIL, kavya gets to put her feet up and do her nails. Just that is enough confirmation for him to understand how his daughter, Anupama is being treated. If he really meant well for Anupama, he would not tolerate this even for a single day!! 😲

Tearing and throwing invitation card was the limit. I thought after this anupama will realize that baa is no better than vanraj but forget about realizing, she didn't even answer back.

Sirf Kavya he nahi, dolly , kinjal, Nandini , rakhi inn sab working women ke sath koi bediya and paraya mard ke chochla karne ki himmat bhi nahi kar sakta because iss show ki baki sab working women ka personality he aisa hai !

Look at anupama , she is the only one character in the same show jisko bediyo mai dikhaya gaya hai and koi bhi aata jata uske uper paraya mard ka taunt bhi maar sakta hai because she is continuously conducting her personality in that way by her choice !
