Her idea is to empower women like her with skilled hands and warm hearts who had been home bound but raring to do something.

These women will cook delicacies chat with customers as per the pitch she made.

She will get to visit places, meet people who will be impressed with her home grown logic. she will also get to unleash her spiel on maa Ka Mamta, Ma ka Mehnath, Ma ka mahantha. Maybe on made in India as well.

The icing on the cake would be perks that make Vanya jealous, Baa get into her regressive control freak mode.

Extra bonus will be drool worthy Maan scenes.

Tania that is why i have even stoped to visit this forum there is no head or no tail ,just romance first vanya ,knishu sanan and now anuraj next willl be pakhi because that is the show is going on ,although i use to be a big fan of both male leads vanraj and the new one but i stoped even reading it never mind watching .

None of us responding to the post has done hospitality management I think.

We are discussing a Indian soap. It means there's a willing suspension of disbelief. Each production house has its own laws, industry ethics.

this restaurant will be one of many in that 5 star hotel. They will hire women and train them in operations.

Taj and oberoi are hotel chains. Some cities in India have multiple hotels by the same business house.

Bangalore we have several Hotels promoted by the Taj. One goes by the name West End. West End has multiple restaurants and coffee shops which is the basis the star ranking is given. One out of the many restaurants in Anujs Ahmedabad 5 star hotel will be what anupama s idea is.

We have not been shown the terms and conditions of the partnership deal. It gives us the opportunity to imagine what we like.

Okay, so I'll try to find some implicit possibilities. Whatever Vanraj does for his cafe, will be what Anupamaa does for her and Anuj's restaurant. Anuj is the money, Anupama is the brains. She'll take care of stuff like layout, staff, menu, etc. Just think of it as owning and running a restaurant, that happens to be part of a 5 star hotel. Think of it as giving a tender to someone, but she would have some rights of the owner too. She wouldn't have financial stake in it, but would have an intellectual stake.

There can be all kinds of business partners, sleeping partners who only invest $, merely working partners who don’t invest capital, or equal equity partners who share investment and work equally, etc, etc

Anupama has always had two passions, cooking and dancing. Her first foray outside of her home was as a cooking teacher at Pakhi’s school. Her idea of home style meals at a 5 star restaurant cooked by women who are like her, suppressed and oppressed but whose meals bring a touch of warmth and the nostalgia of home to the weary traveler/ traveling business man is the concept of this restaurant. Assuming she will give ideas, have a part to play in the hiring/firing decisions, the decor, the menu, etc. She will also perhaps be shown as a compassionate empathetic boss to some of the women hired. Just like the restaurant that is staffed by acid attack victims, or the restaurant that is staffed by the developmentally challenged, this restaurant would be staffed by hitherto subservient housewives. It is niche marketing, a novel concept which Anuj’s team liked. 😊
