Never thought I will agree with anyone being worse than Vanraj but you are spot on.

Vanraj gives a lot of respect to his Baa (though maybe that is in some way influenced by his Bapuji respecting Baa too), started working as a teenager when Bapuji's kharkhana flopped and looked after his entire family financially for years. Vanraj treats Kavya better than Toshu treats Kinjal. When Vanraj went to Kavya's house, he learnt to cook, iron, etc.; Toshu on the other hand puts Kinjal down always. Now, that the family has 40 lakh rupees loan from Rakhi Dave, why doesn't he help in paying it off and getting a time extension from his beloved MIL.

He's also really really greedy! I mean, atleast vanraj doesn't run after money. In most aspects, Toshu is worse.

Someone said Toshu is coming from a twisted place of concern. I don't agree at all. He just wants to rein his mother in, control her life, and ensure she doesn't find happiness outside of the four walls of their house.

He is coming from a twisted place of concern. He doesn't necessarily want to control his mother but he doesn't see her as a person with an agency of her own. Mothers aren't supposed to get into romantic relationships according to him. They're supposed to age gracefully and all that. And he fears Anuj has romantic intentions for his mother. Anyone who has romantic intentions for his mother will be considered bad by him. The way he thought Anuj engineered the accidents were proof of this. He's extremely paranoid and is now trying to "help" by supplanting Anuj with the only viable guy for his mother he knew. His idiot father!!! To be honest, even if it's completely twisted and toxic, this is the first time he's trying to do something for his mother. But unfortunately for Toshu, we all want to thrash him!!! Lol🤣

Toshu - like father like son perfect example 😊 whenever his dad deserves 2 slaps, he should get 1 too!

I dont really remember who said this and in which thread but toshu really is coming from a twisted place of concern

The concern for his own tiny petty ego that has now been bruised brutally.

Regarding him not being able to see his mother happy and wanting to control her i am still undecided and kind of in two minds about this.

On one side i feel that he is just imitating his brainless chauvinist father and thinks he is entitled to his mother's life.

But on the other side i also feel that he has his own selfish motives beyond just controlling his mother. Controlling his mother also means controlling his wife kinjal.

Anupama is working with anuj and going om a business trip with him? Kinjal will do the same too. I just think he somewhere knows that the key to controlling kinjal and make her a puppet to him is his mother and not rakhi dave. And once he has anupama in his control not even rakhi can make kinjal see sense.

I am still undecided on the two though and i will try and wait to be more clear about the two opinions i have in my mind.

These idiots deserve a special cell in a nice mental asylum. I am willing to even pay for their vacation to the mental asylum out of my own pockets 😭. The electric shock treatment that they show in tvs and movies is highly recommended

Like a lot of others I believe Toshu is worse than Vanraj!!! Its not that he has concerns for Anupama, but its his ego that's hurt that how come the woman he was ashamed of even calling his mother so much so that he asked Kavya to act his mother when Kinjal's family first visited them, that classless woman is flying high and being appreciated by someone richer than all of them combined.

Vanraj till date respects his parents, never back answers them and never hurts them on purpose. He is not greedy and complacent. He has worked hard throughout his life.

Toshu inherited all bad qualities from Vanraj but even worse did not inherit the few good qualities that he could.
