It's just that Anu & Anuj were strangers in college. This guy has been pining over a stranger he had a crush on 26 years ago.. All the while never having been in a long term/serious relationship. That's obsessive af. I know fans are eating it up like he's a prince charming.. But this backstory is hella weird.

Someone can be so deeply in love with someone without the other person even knowing about it and he did have his flings but no one could settle in his heart and I find that completely acceptable.

Maybe he couldn't give them the place he had for anu in his heart and being so deeply in love with someone and getting married to someone else isn't possible. I don't find anything wierd in this at all

it would make more relatable - if he had been married or engaged once - and his wife/would be broke up as he was so out dated for her etc....

so writers should show him handsome yet not-so-modern like anupama is...

It's a nice sentiment but doesn't work here.. Because he literally never talked to Anu while in college. He doesn't even know her, only has an idea what she's like. That's what I'm saying! At least showing them as ex-close friends would have given some basis to his feelings. Door door se dekhke pyaar ho gaya & silently Paro ban gaya.. It's weird & silly

I think they will show some story. He definitely had a rose laminted. My guess is Anupama must have given him in college days. And Devika definitely seem like a common friend so hoping to see some flashback scenes.

Even I don't find anything silly or weird in this.

There are people I have come across who have fallen in love with someone at first sight and were never able to come across someone else who could touch their heart like that one person.

Just because something isn't common or one hasn't experienced it,doesn't necessarily have to mean that such people don't exist in the real world.

Instead I think it's kind of cute,the depth of feelings.

It's very rarely shown in TV serials...mostly its the boy meets girl,they hate each other,catch and falling happens and they fall in love.

This is more subtle and sweet.

Love at first sight is just an exaggerated term for either crush or lust 🤪Bollywood ne sabka dimag kharab kar dia hai by passing of those superficial feelings as love 🤡 Love is something immensely deep & pure. It cannot be attained merely by one look, without knowing a person & sharing experiences with them.

Anyway.. No one has a problem with Anuj being in love with Anu since 26 years. That's the sweet part. The problematic stuff is everything else. How he has been presented as a simp, which has been detailed repeatedly on this post.
