Kavya and Rakhi have a tiff. They are fighting. Then Rakhi is in a mood to insult everyone. And this wonderful son of Vanraj, can't even stop his MIL. I understand he can love his MIL, every SIL and MIL should share this bond. But like seriously he is silent. Power of money it is. It is money why Rakhi flying, it is money due to which Toshu is on Rakhi's side. It is money why Anupama is silent. It is money why Kavya, Vanraj, Leela, Toshu changed the colours.

Rakhi reveals the deal that Anupama has mortgaged the Shah house. The worst possible thing. Shah house is a home of sweet memories. If you are compelled then only you should mortgage the house. Why Anupama you did not ask before such a big decision. Normally in every house for such a crucial decision whole family sits and discuss. And Rakhi is proud that she too owns the house.

Money disparity was clearly shown. Money can show you what you possess materially. Rakhi and the money power exactly showed that. Vanraj was shocked to know this. Definitely he should be shocked. For Rakhi it's a possession, but for Vanraj it was his hard work. It was not only his hard work. But also Anupama's hard work. Vanraj gets to know about everything Anupama did to manage money.

Vanraj was angry and I think his anger was justified. But thinking on other side, he was the one who entirely made Anupama responsible to manage the money. He said I won't help. I feel pity on Anupama and Vanraj also a little bit. Pity on Vanraj, because From poverty to this house, only he knows how he has made the structure of this house.

Pity On Anupama because, our respect, our friendship,how much someone cares for us is only known when you have an empty pocket. I badly remember Advait right now, what an empty pocket teaches nothing else can teach. Paise bharne ki baat aai to Anupama manage karegi. And how badly Rakhi took the advantage of Anupama's empty pocket. Anupama need to know this the people who are definitely hers are Kinjal, Samar, Bapuji and Nandini. Rest all are Paraye. Khali jeb tab jo saath ho wohi apna

Bapuji revealed that Anupama took his advice. But Bapuji you were in your senses, why you agreed to such a thing. Your mind was sound that time. You could have told Anupama to contact Kinjal's father. Everytime supporting Anupama is not done. Hasmukh told that Agar sabko paise pay karne ka dusra rasta pata tha, to sabne Anupama se kyun kaha ki paise pay kar do. Sab hoshiyar, dhurandhar hai

Rakhi claimed the house to be her own, but the fact is only Anupama's part of house is mortgaged. Power of money it was that Rakhi had the guts to have her name plate on the door

Anupama did not take advice from bapuji . Infact she took permission from bapuji

Vanraj leela cant under stand simple thing thst anupama only mortage her own property ( after taking permission from bapuji)not whole house

Two things that struck me about the episodes were - Anu is the owner of her share & she has every right to sell it or mortgage it or rent it out, etc. The way Vanraj and Kavya are behaving like they own the whole house. Anu should certainly have discussed. I understand her though I don't agree with her. Baa and others came down on her like a ton of bricks. You have to be approachable too. When we are young and make mistakes, we approach the parent who is most approachable. The family members certainly created an atmosphere of fear and guilt. Most people would not discuss any matter in such a situation where people are pouncing on you and making you feel worthless. There is a fine line between scolding / shouting at someone and humiliating them. Baa, Vanraj, Kavya and Toshu never accepted Anu as part owner of the house and when she makes decisions regarding her share, they try to break her. What are they doing to help with the finances? Literally zero.

Second - Why doesn't anyone approach the police and file an FIR or something? The conmen are still free and must be exploiting another Anu now. Why is this entire family so passive on such a large issue?

This show has become highly senseless and negative. Why would Rakhi want to live in that house when she is so super rich? Why is she such a control freak when it comes to Kinjal? Where is Pramod? I thought this show would be inspiring to women that no matter what your age or martial status, you can live a dignified and happy life. That it is possible to find your identity in any age and become independent too. It's never too late. This show stresses me out instead. Baa, Vanraj and Toshu are stuck in a loop with no growth and Kavya was a much more sensible woman first. Now, she is the stereotypical vamp.

Diya Aur Baati Hum for all it's flaws was a far more progressive show than this. Star Plus's content has gone down.

P.S. Also, the dialogues Vanraj gets are disgusting. He is equating his 26 years of torture with Anu mortgaging her share of the house to Rakhi. What??? I am speechless here. Why doesn't Vanraj think of helping Anu pay back the mortgage amount so that he can throw Rakhi out? This man only knows how to blame but when it cones to work, he shrugs ot off to his family. Baa decides his cafe menu, Samar Nandini decorate it, Samar gets the pamplets and cafe board done, Anu cooks and he takes the credit.

Another extreme level of hypocrisy on the show.

Kinjal tagged herself as a commodity today which can be leased or loaned to anyone for money.

RaVanraj is so SO painstakingly "sharing" Toshu with Rakhi (who is his own MIL btw) but Shah's have full "ownership" of Kinjal, so much so that she can pawn herself for family politics like Draupadi.

The ridiculous Shahs had so many easy ways out which they skipped. Loaning from Rakhi when terms were still good, Convincing Samar to take the abroad assignment, or even convincing Kinjal to move to the penthouse. For heavens sake, it was a penthouse, not a slum hut that Kinjal would have had a nervous breakdown there, and Kinjal doesn't even have any Mommy issues that she wants to stay away from Rakhi. Just that she didn't destroy her career to constantly cook for Kinjal, like Anupamaa cooks for Pakhi. Really? Was it that big a crime, that you abandoned your mother for a regressive sasural at the first chance you got?

But no, it was easier for Anupamaa to mortgage factory papers for a loan than send Samar abroad,

And it was easier for her to mortgage her share of the house, instead of convincing Kinjal to move out.

So much for honour! So much for sanskaar!

So much for wanting your children to remain co-dependent on you!

So what if Samar and Kinjal themselves didn't want to move out? No kid wants to go to school on his first day of Kinder Garten, but parents convince them to do it. Many students also don't want to go to hostel, but parents convince them to do it, because its for their own good. What happened now?

Why couldn't (rather didn't) Anupamaa convince them?

How hypocritical for Anupamaa again, to look at everyone else in the house with eyes of guilt and shame but at Rakhi with disgust?

Why did she think Rakhi will show her humanitarian side after being insulted so many times by Leela's crass words and Vanraj's toxic ego?

• Is she the gaslighted Anupamaa that has been taught to silently bear whatever her husband and in-laws say? (except cheating ofcourse)
• Or is she the zero self-esteemed Kavya, that she will take the absconding man of a husband and listen to all of Leela's insults just so that she can "win" against Anupamaa.

She definitely is the Nagin, and one with self-respect, like Leela says, you keep stepping on her tail and she will bite back when she has the chance. She didn't do anything I wouldn't have done.

She has been kept driven out of Shah house, implied time and again that she is not welcome here, exactly how Anupamaa's mother and brother were treated in the past.

They were mistreated because they were poorer than Shahs, she is mistreated because she is richer!

Basically anyone who is not equal to the Shahs will be insulted there, so better keep up!! Get promoted when Vanraj does, get fired when he does and get bankrupt when he does, only then will his ego be able to handle you, else just "Get Out Rakhi Dave!!"

Ah well, they did need to show a man "rescuing" Anupamaa, didn't they?

In Bengali version, Rohit cleaned all of Sreemoyee's and rest of the family's messes.

He used to, with so much effort, get June (Kavya) convicted for her crimes and get people out of trouble and Sreemoyee used to just forgive them and give her another chance at another conspiracy. He paid for treatments of so many family members, paid off so many loans, and yet the problem-maker (whoever it is) used to be forgiven and he used to be cast aside like an outsider.

Considering the situation, I am sure Anuj will be treated in the same way.

Thanks CVs for introducing him at this point, to prove that a woman can't do anything without a man. When Vanraj stepped aside because his fragile as porcelain ego was hurt, Anuj will save Anupamaa, because she is really useless, except for cooking ofcourse.
