Anupamaa Written Update 20 Mar 2021

The episode begins with Anupama and Baa enjoying their chat as they buy a jug of sugarcane juice at the vendors thela. Baa enjoyed ordering her flavours of rock salt n lime . They discuss Anu Van separation and Anu asks her to drop the discussion as it was done n dusted . Should Baa tell Dolly the same thing God forbid if her husband brought in his GF ?? Anu shares her pain as she watches Vanya together .

Kavya watches the duo n thinks Saas bahu were enjoying themselves after taunting n putting her down at the dining table today . She vouches tk take revenge for her insult .

Kavya appears very pleased as Van offers her his car , she gives him a hug and calls him very sweet . Right that moment Baa n Anu enter the house and scolds Vanya for having Holi Milan openly in the house. Anu looks away embarrassed n hurt .They had forgotten to respect their elders . Baa feels disgusted n walks inside . Van the scolds Kavya for this PDA , that too in presence of Anu and Van , it must be hurting for Anu , he reminds her the manners of living in joint family, he also accuses her of wearing inappropriate clothes , they were too low cut n short . Kavya states even Pakhi n Kinjal wore similar clothes . Van says they were kids , it was allowed for them but she had to look more decent . Kavya fumes inwardly but keeps her cool , she decides to vent out only after Van gapers this house ownership .

Samar gets emotional as he hands over his meagre income to his mother n assures her he will one day earn so much that he will build her a house n gift it to her , until then she will find hi steadfast besides her . He also assures he will abide by her advise n never fault as he did on Shivaratri.

Anu gets emotional n hugs her son .

Kavya watches the mother n son n thinks Anu was trying to lure family members to her side , Kavya is happy about it thinking it’s better they leave with her .

Anupama returns with Samar and requests Babuji to accept her wishes , she too had agreed to all his wishes and never protested . Babuji wants to know what we’re her wishes . Rest of the family gathers . Anu hands over an envelope to Van . He asks what was that , family members are eager to k ow what was that , they fear the worst . Anu asks Van to open the envelope n read it aloud.
Van says it’s a blank legal document duly stamped by court n signed by Anupama. Van questions Anupama what was this for .

Anupama says Van was given this blank paper to transfer the house on his name , she declines claims to this house. She apologises to Babuji for not consulting him as she knew he might nit agree. She thanks him for thinking her worthy of this house earlier . Now she says she will give what was not her right. Kavya is very pleased secretly that Anupama had given the papers to Vee. Baa questions her so does a kinjal . Anu says her dance classes , her job, her freedom, her maan samman , the ground under her feet were her own , she would never ever give away what was her own , she would fight for them.

She wanted to be with the family and that was getting already , if she had her ground under her feet she could build her house anywhere.

Next morning Kinjal and Kavya leave for office , Samar and Toshu also depart , Anupama hands Samar n Toshu their tiffin boxes , she asks Kinjal to collect hers from the kitchen where it was packed n ready . baa wants tk be dropped off at Mandir , Babuji and Mamaji decide to go out on their errands. Kavya rushes off with a hurried bye to Van . Van recollects the days when he used to leave for work and Anupama used to hand over his lunch box and babuji would get his office bag for him. How he used to bid his family good bye . Here he was left all alone .

As she is leaving for school with her bag n tiffin , Anupama notices Van standing al alone , she bids him a good bye n wishes him best of luck for his IV . He could do them in peace , because the family was out , Van stands there in the house all by himself .
In the evening when Kavya returns Van accuses Kavya of not bidding him good bye properly . When Kavya makes excuses he reminds her how sensitive she used to be earlier when he took time to respond to her messages or calls !! How displeased she used RK be when he did not bid proper goodbye to her while leaving !!


In the evening Samar informs Nandini that the dance classes had reached the enrolment of 100 students , they decide to give surprise celebration for Anupama .

Anupama returns home to see a cake placed in the center prominently marked 100 , she wonders whose birthday it could be ??

Samar Nandini, KinTos, baa babuji , mama ji , all surprise Anupama with the good news . They all celebrate happily with balloons, sparklers , confetti’s . Anu remembers her Baba saying sadness how ever big should be forgotten quickly but happiness how ever small should be celebrated in big way . They all sing n dance n enjoy in a big was

Van watches them enjoy Anupamaa’s success . Kavya instigates Van against them saying they were showing off n celebrating n taunting him for his failures .

Pakhi returns from school trip . She has brought home a lady (probably a teacher) accompanying her . Pakhi wants to give her family a surprise .

Pakhi enters the Shah house wanting to give a big surprise to her family but she is horrified to see Kavya and Papa standing very close holding hands . kavya refuses to stay at Shah house as long as Kavya was living here . Anupama hugs n consoles Pakhi .

Kavya is seen leaving Shah house with her belongings . And Anupama escorts weeping Pakhi into the house .
kavya curses Pakhi for getting her thrown out of Shah house today . she vouches to make sure the entire family gets thrown out of this house soon , or she will change her name .
