Apparently he had proposed to her in college but she didn't reply. In the promo Rohit applies colour on her saying that she applied colour on everyone but him, but he will not be annoyed at her. He then goes on to apply colour on her forehead and tells her that now she should return the favour. As a reply she moves her hand to his cheeks but then proceeds to his feet.

Rohit expresses sadness and sarcasm with a smile that she is still keeping a distance from him to which she says that even the Himalayas are distant, but that doesn't mean it is loved any less, signifying their relationship to be more of respect than romance.
