The episode begins with Shah family excitedly preparing to begin the Sankranti festival all dressed in yellow . They carry their sweets n other eatables in decorated tins, their new kites with much gusto . Kavya glares at the Shah family n feels jealous at the festivities n happiness flowing in the family . She is so disappointed as Van does not even glance her way n is busy bo ding with his family members . Anupama glares at Kavya n walks away ignoring her .
..Samar leaves to collect Nandini .
At Nandini’s place he enters without knocking n catches her half dressed causing both embarrassment . She runs inside after he passes her dupatta , and while she is dressing up he accidentally comes across her open personal diary n reads her feelings about himself . Something she had written makes him very emotional n loving towards Nandini . He hugs her tightly the moment she return all dressed up . Nandini is surprised n wonders if Samar was OK . They soon join the rest of Shah family .
The Shah family indulges in kite flying and hast lots of fun and masti . They dance on the song ...”Kaipoche !!..... “
Kavya watches the family jealously . She feels another festival /celebrations was here n she was again left out of it . But this time
Kavya decides to take things in her hand n join the festivities.
During kite flying Samar n Nandini have close moments. They have dream romance on the song ..”aankhon ki mastiyaan maaf ho .....”
Samar Nandini come closer .
Their romance causes their kite to get entangled in the branches . KinTos too are unable to keep their eyes n hands off eachother n as a result they fail to concentrate on the kite . It gets entangled with a tree.
During kite flying Vannhas his eyes only on Anupama who si looking very beautiful in yellow Saree n gajraa.
Baa shows off her expertise in flying kites and also passes snide remarks to Anupama that she should forgive Van n accept him back into her life . Babuji taunts ababa back that son’s sins were forgiven without considering the feelings of their daughter like Bahu . during kite flying Anu pVan come closer which is noticed jealousy by Kavya .
Van has his eyes only for Anu and he loves comming close to her making Kavya green with jealousy

Kavya attempts to fly kite but gets cut in her palm by the kite thread n starts bleeding . Nandini exclaims Maasi!!! n starts attending to her bleeding wound . To Kavya’s dismay Van notices her but chooses to remain besides Anupama .
Van tells Anu that he could have gone to Kavya but he chose to remain with his family . Kavya is heart broken .
