I personally dont think she is a cruel mother in law. I think shes A mother in law. I think shes blinded by the duties she had to fulfil and knows what she knows and nothing otherwise. Thats no excuse, but baa clearly fakes her nastiness towards anupama to keep up the "saas" appearance. That in addition to her blind love for her son shes quick to pin things on anupama.

I think whem it will come down to it, i could see baa supporting her.
