As for Ba, she isn't bad like evil, she is just lazy (kinda selfish), ignorant at times to Anupamaa, and has sharp tongue on her but she isnt evil like other MIL can be as we seen

Agree, Vanraj would have fallen further in my books if he had stood silent while that Rekhaben kept loudly berating Anupama.
Ba is bad but maybe not evil.

As much as Rakhi (i thought that was her name, not Rekha?) was taunting and insulting, the one insult that is kinda visible unfortunately is how Vanraj, Toshi and Pakhi and the MIL treat her most times... like some nauktrani... like thats all she is good for doing housework and kitchenwork/cooking... these ppl stil wont see it or get it that in a way they do treat her like that at times

Toshi wants something and wants to appear all well to his future in laws but he wants to insult his mother by not even acknowledging her or telling her he has invited Kinjal's parents over to meet and even now in precap it seems he is still blaming her. As for Pakhi - the school thing, she thought her mother was less of a person and mother cos all she knew was cooking etc.... Vanraj thinks she should just be in the house and things should be set and run the house, do that and this when he says. Ba is lazy and selfish, Anupamaa wasnt her first choice for V but does treats her like do this and that like some maid etc

You are right, why do I keep saying Rekha instead of Rakhi? Your analysis is spot on. Cannot wait for the day Anupama is able to stand on her own two feet and tell all these losers off!

The thing is that anupamaa wants to keep things nice with rakha as it's more for paritosh and kinjal happiness and she doesnt want to ruin the relationship between the families and sort out things in calm manner..

Rekha was just too much.. I cant understand her issue with anupama being less educated.. her daughter is gonna marry her son and not anupamaa..but I also feel her fears about her daughter getting trapped as a house wife just like anupamaa is not wrong.. seeing how anupamaa gets treated for her responsibility being only handling home and family so much so to lose her job.. and paritosh is also shallow like vanraj in many aspects and anupamaa will have the last say incase kinjal gets the same treatment.. rekha fears for kinjal isnt wrong but her target being anupamaa is totally wrong..

Coming to vanraj..he I felt kept quiet since it was a lady and it made sense for anupamaa to handle her calmly.. even baa kept quiet till she went over board and gave her nicely.. I feel baa doesnt hate anupamaa but she has her issue because she dint choose her.. but the day anu is to walk out of this house she will be very affected..

Anyways vanraj finally does speak up because it's going out of hand..

Paritosh toh I have no words for his shallowness.he can beat vanraj to that anyday... now he is gonna throw a tantrum that he cant marry kinjal due to anu.. he can sulk for who cares.. he still wants to marry kinjal after all the insult his mom went through then kinjal has some serious thinking to do about the future..

paritosh always act smart and degrade his younger brother for not studying well but he dont understand this much also that he should thanks anu for helping kinjal but no he blaming anu for that

Agree about Leela (ba's name) and her issue with Anupamaa etc.

Good obversation maybe why she is hesitate about her daughter coming into this family but she comes off as cruel and disrespectful with no values too.

Even Nandini quietly said, what hell is this woman on about... until Kavya stopped her

Vanraj speaks up because he is concerned with his respect/image not his wife

He turns around and then blames Anu for everything so he is still a jerk

Rekha was out of line but her words rang true ...Anu is a maid , Vanraj is 2 faced and the house is regressive in their treatment of women

when leaving Rekha hits home when she asks Vanraj why Kavya was playing Toshus mom

the house is full of losers ...every single one of them
