Monday 4/7/11 Episode No 307 Archives ' Copy

Vetti Karthik and Mechanic Karthik - serious meeting - VV Karthik says his parents have
gone to meet Shree. Mechanic says that Shree will do some thing and send the parents back.. VV karthik says that he is worried about how things will turn out and when
some thing nice will happen. Mechanic wants to know " intha double timing story vera yaarukkellam theriyum??" VV Karthi says - " Paatti, Sundu, AAR ..." Mechanic asks
" did you talk to AAR about how to go about this??" VV says that AAR is also worried
that things will go topsy turvy - Mechanic asks VV to speak to AAR " hope things will
be settled amicably. Your father is a good man" (my foot ) Meenakshi calls Gayathri
and asks about Palli - RR visit. Gayathri says that Shree drove them away. Meenakshi
says that there must be a solid reason for Shree's behavior " she was the one who
wanted to marry VV ??" Gayathri passes the buck - asks Meena to talk to Shree.
Meena talks to Shree and is pretty direct "considering that it is you who wanted to
marry VVK, now what??? Shree says that she is very confused and needs time to
think things over . Finally Meena tells Gayathri that they need to give a long rope
"let us hope that things will be ok" (athu sari, we also tell ourselves the same - intha
kashta kaalam seekiram mudiyum nnu nambarOm )

Second and third segements - do not merit any update. Santhosh has visions of
his dad laughing and enjoying with his second channel. Shouts at sisters and
mommy , breaks a flower vase and heads out . His friends - ithungalai yellam
yethukku pEthu valarthu vittangalO?? - are getting ready to water beat. One guy
asks about Santhosh but the others say that he has become Bhuddha " avanai
kooppitta, namakku lecture adichu , namba jolly ai keduthuduvaan " - apdi pOdu,
yen da vetti pasangala, jolly aa??? hmmm - They all go to their usual joint and find
Santhosh sitting and water beating all by himself (Aama RR pillai vera epdi irukkum??
Ipdi cad aa thaan irukkum ) The friends ask for the reason for such extravaganza -
" full bottle ai thaniya adikkare?? " - Santhosh does not reveal the reason and refuses
the offer of getting dropped home safely.

VV karthik is chatting with a friend - who has an younger brother. that guy talks about "pleasures of having an younger bro " and how VVK misses having one. VVK has a
smile and well after the friend leaves and is out of ear shot shouts " I am not unlucky,
I too have an younger bro..his name is Santhosh " Well, who should come there in his
bike - the vetti Santhosh - RR unakku thevai thaan , Vetti vetti pasanga !!! VVK happily
calls out "Santhosh " VVS ( vera enna Vethu vEttu Santhosh ) stares angrily - has
visions of Palli - RR Cootchi cooing...

Update for Thurs, July 14, 2011:

Anu is still lamenting about how she wants to go and apologize to her darling friend, Palli. Ganesh and Rukku talk her out of it.

Ganesh and Rukku with Palli - Ganesh apologizes on behalf of Santhosh, Rukku is talking about Anu's crying and how they do not know why Santhosh is acting like this. Palli thinks it is because he is angry with Karthi for scolding him for drinking. Palli says she will always be Anu's best friend so she need not worry about her.

RR wants to know why Priya is moping, but Thatha and Paati interrupt and come up with some excuse. RR thinks there is some reason and probes some more. Priya tells him about Santhosh telling Palli to get out of the house. Thatha and Paati say it has something to do with Karthi. RR tries to calm Palli, but she says there must be some reason behind Santhosh's behavior. She tells him about Anu's friend telling them that he was drinking in a bar and wonders why his father does not talk to him. RR leaves, saying he has some work (idhu oru convenient excuse!) He tells Thatha and Paati that he doesn't know what is going on in the house (endha house?).

RR goes to Anu's house, yells out for Anu, once, twice, three times, then I lost count! Anu, Manju and Nivedha come out, he asks for Santhosh. Anu says she doesn't know where he is, Manju updates about the Palli affair, then Santhosh walks in. RR also displays his parenting skills (the TV serial way, of course!) by hitting Santhosh once, twice, then three times, then some more. Anu takes him inside, while Santhosh walks off.

Night - RR is unable to sleep. His conscience talks to him, says he did wrong in hitting Santhosh, he is the one who has done the drogam so he should apologize to Santhosh. RR goes to Santhosh's room, it is empty. Santhosh is sitting outside, RR goes and sits beside him and apologizes, but Santhosh gets up and goes in without saying a word (yes, where were your parenting skills all these days, RR? It never bothers you that your sons are roaming around without jobs or doing anything useful and productive, you have never spent any time with Santhosh, you were too busy juggling two wives and spending more time with Palli, you deserve to be rejected by your children). Anu comes there, and parrots her usual line - Namma yaarukkum oru drogam seyyalai, ellam seriyaagi vidum! You are talking to the No. 1 drogi in the world, Anu!

Episode 316 - innum evvalavu?

RR in Anu's house (which used to be Palli's in some episodes!). Santhosh is still asleep. RR asks about him, so Anu goes and wakes him up. He comes out and RR tells him to come to his office, he will give him a job. Santhosh doesn't say anything, so promptly Anu screams at him, followed by Nivedha. RR tells him he can work there if he likes, but his friends are leading him on the wrong path. He says he didn't like the way Santhosh behaved, and that is why he hit him the previous day. Santhosh remains quiet. RR leaves for work, and Anu asks Santhosh what he plans to do, echoed by Manju, who tells him to leave. Nivedha says it is because he is going out with porukkis, and Santhosh asks if it was Shree who told her this, Anu starts crying and tells him to go somewhere, anywhere, and she will accept that she never had a son like this (emotional blackmail!), so Santhosh agrees to go to RR's office.

Karthi and Paati scold Priya for blabbering to RR about Santhosh. Priya sobs and says she couldn't bear to see her mom being insulted by Santhosh. Palli comes out, overhears, wants to know what is happening, and Karthi and Palli's mom cover up and say she was quarreling with Karthi. Palli wants to probe because she is not satisfied, but Paati manages to send her to the kitchen.

RR and Sundaram - Sundaram says he will talk to Santhosh and solve all their problems. RR is afraid he knows everything but doesn't want to say anything in case it muddles things more, and creates more problems between Karthi and Santhosh. Sundu gives a conduct certificate to Karthi and says he can handle any situation.

Santhosh walks into RR's office, the receptionist is talking and laughing with some friend, she stops him and asks him if he has an appointment. Some other guy comes and asks him if he didn't hear the girls, and Santhosh gets angry and grabs him by his collar. Sundu comes, breaks it up, and takes Santhosh inside. Sundu tells the receptionist that Santhosh is RR's son, and she is surprised. She tells her friend that RR's son is Karthi, and Sundu says that Santhosh is Karthi's younger brother and that MD has two sons (and two wives!).

Santhosh in RR's cabin - RR tells Sundu to take him to the site. Santhosh says he doesn't want any odd job, he came because Anu forced him to, and RR gets angry and tells him to leave. Sundu tells Santhosh to calm down, and right then, he gets a call from Jenny about some project. RR and Sundu leave, asking Santhosh to wait. RR comes back and tells Santhosh to wait and he is sorry.

Wednesday- this is brief. I am tired of this RR pugazh maalai - eljay.

Update for Wed, July 13, 2011:

Santhosh sees Palli in Anu's house, asks her why she is there, and tells her to leave. Anu as usual gets angry with him, says "Sorry sollu", just like one would tell a little five year old, and then starts to slap him, left, right and center (I was so sick looking at her abysmal parenting skills!). He just stands there. Palli wants to leave and guess who enters? AAR and hubby Ganesh. They stop Palli from leaving - bring her back and want to know what is going on.

Santhosh goes to his room, AAR wants to know if Santhosh has done this to anyone else, and Manju says he did this to Karthi also. Palli is shocked to hear about Karthi also getting the same treatment. Rukku and Ganesh are also shocked (shouldn't they be expecting this, why are they shocked?)

Palli returns home, dejected. Karthi and Priya come there, and their Paati also comes. She tells palli to go and rest (is she sick or what? they always tell her to rest - a little work won't hurt anyone, and she is always resting or going out, never seen doing any work in the house). After she leaves, Paati tells Karthi that they are all relying on him to bring the two families together.

Gayathri wants to go and meet Gomathy paati, Shree says that there is no need, she cannot help bring the two families together.

Anu cannot understand why Santhosh is acting like this. She wants to go and apologize to Palli, but Rukku and Ganesh stop her from going to Palli's house. She sits and cries like a child - yaarukku enna paavam senjom, why is all this happening to us? She says he has something against Palli, he didn't get angry with anyone else. Ganesh says he will talk to Santhosh.
